Excellence in then details

We just loved our time at Lone Star. It was a last minute booking and we were pleasantly surprised. Christina was an absolutely fantastic host! There were a few issues that she responded to and addressed immediately and we so appreciate great communication. She thought of just about every detail to make us comfortable. It made our time at her cabin relaxing and special. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. We will seek it out again in the future.

Fantastic Host

Great cabin for our trip. The games, fire pit and hot tub were perfect to keep our older kids occupied. We were able to relax and reconnect. Christina is a fantastic host. This cabin has several little conveniences that are above and beyond, and Christina is also very quick to respond to any questions. Five stars!

Perfect Cabin

Lone Star is an amazing location that is equally clean, safe and close to town without being to close. We found ourselves in a scary situation with the forest fire and Christina was there for us every step of the way with helpful advice and updates. This is the perfect cabin for a young family like ours or anyone visiting the Pigeon Forge area.

Great Location

First off, I would like to say that Christina was a dream to work with! Unfortunately, we had a death in the family less than a week prior to our arrival, and we weren’t sure if we were going to be able to make it but had not purchased travel insurance. However, Christina was very kind and after telling her the situation, she said that if the visitation/funeral were to fall on one of the days of our trip, she would gladly let us reschedule for another non-holiday date. We ended up being able to keep the original dates, but her kindness meant a lot to us - as we know she did not have to do that! She is also very responsive, and she cares about her guests and the quality of their stay. Our group, which consisted of three couples and a 6-year-old, had a great time relaxing and spending time together at the Lone Star Retreat. It is a beautiful cabin and had everything we could ever need. I loved walking in the door and being greeted with the amazing smell of the pine throughout the cabin. The 6-year-old LOVED the game room upstairs! He had a blast and it was nice to have something to entertain him when the adults were being boring, haha! We loved sitting out on the large back deck or down at the fire pit. It’s very peaceful and surrounded by woods, you hardly realize there are even neighbors. The hot tub was a great way to soak our tired muscles from gallivanting during the day. This cabin fit our group perfectly, with enough room to fit everyone comfortably. The location of the cabin is great, as it’s very close to the main strip in Pigeon Forge and very accessible roads since it’s not up on a mountain. We have stayed in many cabins in the area, but we all liked this one since we didn’t have to travel any treacherous roads to get to it. It was a breeze commuting to and from Pigeon Forge! We highly recommend Lone Star Retreat for anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle to relax and unwind!
