Description

BIMINI is a ground and second floor apartment with stunning views of the ocean from the lounge and master bedroom. It also offers direct access to the sandy deck area with a private patio with BBQ. It sits within a group of nine apartments, Access to the beach is through a gate on the property. We have manned security between 7.00 pm and 7.00 am and private secured parking should you wish to rent a car. We are 10 mins from the airport and 5 mins from Breezes, Sandals and Melia and Baha Mar
 
The space
Hop on the #10 bus 5 mins to any of these resorts Breezes, Sandals and Melia where you can buy day passes to make use of their facilities for the day. Also 5 mins away is Baha Mar the largest casino in the Caribbean
 
We are on the main tourist bus route no need to hire a car, $1.25 and 20 mins takes you all along the main tourist route with all the important places of interest along the way and into the historic downtown area of Nassau
 
If you're feeling adventurous, experience some amazing snorkeling right in front of the property and remember to be outside in time for those amazing sunset views that we are named after, they are simply breathtaking, we have the perfect location to witness the green flash as the sun sets over the ocean, something considered to be a sign of good luck to witness and believed by some cultures to be a "Glimpse of Paradise" 
 
In our garden area we have a swing and playhouse that has recently been remodeled and fitted out with a full kitchen, with parents in mind; we have a comfortable patio set allowing parents to wait in comfort while their food is being prepared and cups of tea are made.
 
Nesbitts, a small local restaurant is located right across the road, offers great local Bahamian food, and some good old-fashioned music is guaranteed from their very popular jukebox, a short 5 min walk is the Blue Sail & Deck Restaurants both very popular 
 
Over the festive season I only take bookings for a weeks stay starting 16th Dec - 6th Jan.

If you’re here to relax, a long stretch of sandy beach can be accessed through a gate at Sunset Cove stepping right out onto where you can lay in the sand or take a dip in the turquoise blue ocean. Alternatively, chill out in one of our hammocks under a palm tree on our sandy sun deck with a cocktail and let the world drift by. We have picnic tables and barbecues available for your use and beach toys available to keep the little ones occupied. On the sun deck steps lead down to the ocean where guests can make use of our 4 kayaks or try our sea hammocks which are very popular or hire a jet ski right from the steps.

Further details will be sent to you before your arrival regarding access to the apartments and the opportunity to pre-book your taxi with a stop to shop for groceries en route to Sunset Cove

Wonderful....


Sunset Cove exceeded my expectations. I stayed at the Bimini apartment, and it was wonderful. Soft beds, clean linens, amazing views, A/C...etc. If you want to be away from the tourist and mingle amongst the locals, this is the place to be. Nesbitt\'s restaurant was across the street (open until 1am), so was the jitney bus which takes you into downtown, beach was to the right, and about a 10-15 minute walk to grocery store. I would definitely be back to stay and would recommend this property to anyone. The pictures don\'t do the property justice...only way to find out is to stay here.

convenient location


Sunset Cove is a convenient location just west of Cable Beach. The best value of our stay was the view, the chance to use the grill while watching the view, and seeing our kids enjoy playing on the sand.

Perfect Place


Beautiful view, perfect place for a family looking for a quieter stay than a resort. I loved that the water and ability to snorkel was literally in the back yard. No elevators or walks to the water. Right outside the door. Pete and Mary were available for anything we needed or questions we had.

Beautiful Location


Beautiful Location, right on the beach, with a beautiful courtyard that overlooks the beach and is literally right on the beach. She has Kayaks, floats, and plenty of beach toys for any occasion. This location is literally right on the water, and there is a ton of aquatic wildlife right at the same spots. Tons of Sand dollars, conch shells, sea urchins, and much more if you like snorkeling and exploring. Its a great place to stay if you like to snorkel and don\'t want to spend money to do it. Her 2 story apartments have the nautical theme, they are coxy, have TV, washer and dryers, and a cute book that will help you get aquainted with Nassau and the surrounding locations. They live in the same complex and are close by if you need anything. I enjoyed our stay. It was my wife, her friend and myself. We slept peacefully, and woke up to ocean front view. Mary takes care of your and will figure out a way to make your stay enjoyable. She is a local resident and we felt safe with her security officer guarding the perimeter at night. I can\'t stress enough how awesome the place was. We stayed at El Greco the year before and this was a million times better. Showers had plenty of hot water, and space for multiple people.
