This is a slice of heaven and I have many guests that keep returning to enjoy the magic. Maybe you should be one of them!
 
Looking for tranquility? A private beachfront paradise? Incredible natural beauty? Located North of Marsh Harbour, Abaco Bahamas, this three bedroom, three bathroom, two kitchen/livingroom home (upstairs is one bed/one bath kitchen/living and downstairs two bed/two bath kitchen/living) offers spacious accommodations on a white sugar sand beach, complete with coral reef right out the front door. At the reef are turtles, lobster, colorful fish and an eel named 'Charlie'. It's all right at your doorway! Bedrooms and living rooms all overlook the spectacular turquoise blue Abaco Sea. Did we mention skinny dipping as an option?
 
Like fishing? Snorkeling? Sailing? Kayaking? We have a kayak, bicycles, a paddleboard and a Sunfish for your use complimentary!  Have a boat? Only a three minute boatride to Treasure Cay! Marsh Harbour is 15 minutes by boat or 20 minutes by car. At the house we have provided for our guests - snorkel equipment, kayak, bicycles, a paddleboard, fishing poles, and a Sunfish. There are many quaint towns with excellent restaurants and fun shopping to visit, especially in the outer islands, that are only a ferry boatride away.
 
Sleeps six privately with two additional sleeper sofas. Take time to call for 'Discounted Specials.' (For privacy I only rent to one group at a time). With privacy, tranquility, great accommodations, and fun activities, this is a great place worth experiencing!! Don't let it slip through your hands like the sand. Enjoy it, kick back in the hammock and get some sand between your toes.

Will be going back to The Nutty Mermaid


The place is so much nicer than the pictures on website! We love the privacy of the beach and walked it everyday. We enjoyed the fully equipped kitchens. It was wonderful they had kayaks, bicycles, a sunfish and a paddle board. So much fun!! Snorkeling was beautiful around the reef in front of the house. We saw lots of turtles and fish. We had a blast- it was my sister’s 60th birthday-so now we are planning to do mine in 15 months. Awesome place- thanks Michelle for sharing your amazing home with us!!????????

Amazing place to stay.


My husband and I have spent many years vacationing in the Marsh Harbour area and have rented numerous houses over the years. The first time we walked into the Nutty Mermaid, we knew we had found the place we would stay from then own. The house feels very private and secluded with its on private beach on the Sea of Abaco. The first thing you notice (other than the breathtaking view out the back of the house) is how clean and spacious it is. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and eating. You will find everything you need for enjoying the beach (mask, snorkels, flippers, floats, plenty of beach chairs) in the closet. Any problems with the house are taken care of immediately by the caretakers, Joy and Mike. Whether walking on the beach, snorkeling around the little islands and reefs just off the beach or relaxing on the patio, this is the place to be to leave the cares of the world behind. We look forward to returning to our \"little piece of heaven\" this fall and are so thankful that the owner, Michelle, is willing to share her home with us.

Lovely home in private setting with amazing views


The Nutty Mermaid is a wonderful home on a private beach overlooking the Sea of Abaco. If quiet and peaceful is your objective you will find it here. The house is very clean and spacious. 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths was ideal for 2 couples. The kitchen as all the supplies for cooking meals. Overall the house is well stocked from kitchen supplies, to towels to beach gear. The one thing to be aware of at this house is that you are 40 mins north of Marsh Harbor and 20 mins south of Treasure Cay. Stock up well when shopping in either town b/c nothing is close by for a quick trip to the store

Quiet, private, beautiful home on the ocean beach


Quiet, private, beautiful view, ocean breeze, right on the ocean beach. We have been here before several times and will continue to come to this beautiful home and private beach. You will not be disappointed. Wait to see the sunrises ! Home was very clean and well maintained.
