Nautilus is a magnificent presence on the shores of beautiful Cinnamon Beach within the Ocean Hammock Resort. A boardwalk leads you over the dunes and down to the coquina-shell sands, or you may choose to stay poolside at Nautilus, enjoying the fenced-in privacy of a big sun shelf among the palms. So many options for water recreation! And you have ocean views from your pool, from several balconies, and from many windows at this large house.
 
Perfect for a large party, Nautilus offers 6 bedrooms, 5 of which contain king beds (because who wants anything smaller, really?!) and 1 with a set of bunk beds for up to 3 kids. Many of these bedrooms are suites, and everything is in pristine condition and absolutely top-shelf. If the term "beach house" evokes casual decor and secondhand furnishings, wait until you see the luxe, beautifully chosen contents of Nautilus!
 
The main living area is on the second floor of this house, affording enviable views of the coastline and big Florida sky. Sunrises are a daily light show here, and you have the best seats in the world for them! Step into the main living room and you are immediately drawn to the double sets of sliding glass doors that lead out to the covered, open-air balcony, where balmy breezes blow and the murmur of the surf lulls you. Heaven!
 
This great room is built for a crowd, with a huge HDTV, a sectional sofa, and plenty of open space. It is connected to the kitchen and dining areas, which share the breathtaking views. Some of your party may want to start a card game at the long dining table, while others gravitate to the TV for a movie or perch at the breakfast bar. Keep them all happy by whipping up a pitcher of drinks and a few appetizers in the kitchen, which is fully stocked with all the tools a chef could desire: cookware, knives, utensils, gadgets, and more! Stainless-steel appliances, granite countertops, recessed lighting, and handsome wood cabinetry add to the appeal of working in here. All you add is groceries!
 
But the main kitchen is only one of several at Nautilus. Downstairs, just indoors from the pool area, you will find a huge game room with a kitchenette all its own. This is a great place for kids of all ages: self-contained, fun, and ready for action. The pool table, TV, and couch are perfect lounging spots for kids, teens, and their parents, and the long kitchenette includes a full fridge, microwave, sink, dishwasher, breakfast bar -- well, let's face it: this is no kitchenette, but a second fully operational kitchen!
 
You will travel freely among the 3 floors at Nautilus via the elevator. It's so nice not to lug groceries, suitcases, and more up the stairs! This is just one of many luxe touches that make this house a very special place to visit.
 
At the end of the evening, everyone in your group will disperse to the bedrooms at Nautilus. Here is where you will really feel pampered! The master suite is palatial, located on the 3rd floor and offering dazzling ocean views. The king-sized bed offers views (through sliding glass doors) of the private covered balcony as well as of the sand, sea, and sky. The ensuite bathroom here is amazing, featuring dual vanities, a soaking tub, and a walk-in shower.
 
But the other bedrooms are equally appealing, nearly all with a king-sized bed, a nearby covered balcony with comfortable seating, and easy (often ensuite) access to a sparkling new bathroom, not to mention million-dollar lovely views. The front of Nautilus faces a lake vista, so no matter where you look, you can find water, birds, and sunny Florida skies.
 
The only problem you will have at Nautilus is trying to leave it. This home has everything you could wish for indoor and outdoor entertainment. Begin your day with a few laps in the pool and end it in the hot bubbly spa, sandwiching the beach and Ocean Hammock resort activities in between. You will love it here! Very nice!


Beautiful, clean house. Nice area. Easy access to the beach, which was not crowded at all. The only problem we ran into were the bath linens. Only one towel/washcloth/hand towel per person and no extra! Not a huge deal but still inconvenient. Loved the area and will definitely be back!

Loved staying in this property.. we enjoyed the mornings and evening walks in the beach... beach is easily accessible and enjoyed spa and pool... this property is highly recommended. Suggestion: would be great if you could provide more toiletries and kitchen stuff ( oil/non stick pans).

EXCELLENT PROPERTY- worth every penny!!!!!!!!!


It was HUGE!!! It was only myself, my husband, and our 12 year old son- so we never even used the 3rd floor- but the views awesome!!! We loved the ocean front, the heated pool, and all the extras ( chess set, pool & ping pong table)!!!! And the MOVIE ROOM-- was a great way to end the evenings after dark!!! And the local attractions from the food, shops, and access to A1A and 95!!! House is suited well for an entire extended family to vacation together, alittle large for our party of 3 but to get ocean view and all the extras it was worth it!!! If I was forced to have any \"cons\", I would say the community pool being right beside this house, and no privacy on either side at all, and the community gate entrance alittle over kill but you get used to it. But nothing to reduce the 5 star!! It is very much worth the price. Hope to stay here again!! Many wonderful memories in 5 days!
