I have been living in Hopkins (the same property) since 2003. I married a wonderful woman from Hopkins (Nisha) several years ago and we have a 7 year old daughter named Inaya and a 2 year old son named Callan. This is our eighth year as a guest house, and we are loving it!Damian Grieco purchased this Apartment in 2011

Beach front apartment with roof top deck. Beautiful views and area. Everything was better than expected and owners and staff made our vacation perfect. The Sunrise Suite was ideal for family and would also work for two couples. Bikes, tours, snorkeling all available through Coconut Row. Fantastic all around!
This is a great little place located right on the beach, perfect for up to four people. The facilities are a little older than some, but kept up immaculately by the great crew at Coconut Row. Speaking of the crew, they are all wonderful, and made every effort to make us feel at home. A few of the highlights: The beach is kept meticulously clean and swept, unlike some properties further down the row. And when you\'re not in the sand enjoying it, be sure to check it out from the private roof top. A great place to watch the sun rise! There is a newly-opened outdoor bar on the premises that serves snacks at night and breakfast in the morning that shouldn\'t be missed. On check-in, each guest receives a coconut with its top cut off and some rum added to the coconut water inside. And if you\'re a coconut lover (like me) you absolutely MUST try the Toasted Coconut Colada - pure heaven! As mentioned before, the staff are amazing. Kyra in the front office will arrange for whatever you need, from laundry to snorkeling trips, making your stay effortless. Be sure to harass her for me - just be ready to get some back. Damian, the owner, is never far away and will also make sure everything is to your liking. The facilities are nice, but the staff make it great. You will be spoiled!
My two sisters and I stayed in the Sunrise Suite in mid Dec 2017 and it was perfect for our birthday getaway. The staff was so accommodating and a pleasure to work with; the locals were awesome; and there were several great restaurant options. We will miss all the friends we made, and I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who just wants to relax and become part of the Belize culture.
We really loved our stay at Coconut Row!! The people who work there (Kyra, Damian, Tanisha, Matthew and Andre) just make it all work. Always with a smile, always around to chat with and made us feel at home. We loved our little house on the ocean (yes truly steps from the ocean) - two porches that face the ocean (watching the sunrise over the ocean with your coffee and the sunset with your Belkin beer on the roof). We loved our beach (cleaned daily by Matthew and Andre). We loved all of the sweet dogs that follow you everywhere in town. We took advantage of all of the trips offered and arranged by the folks at Coconut Row. All of the trips were fun, amazing and authentic - especially our cooking class that was done by Kyra\'s mom, our snorkeling trip that was through Noaelle\'s and run by Bert, the chocolate tour in the Mayan village, our great Sailing trip! Just a note: Hopkins is a small authentic Belize town. We found it really friendly but folks do not have a lot money. You are not in a walled off resort. So you have to expect that the beaches (not ours) have trash on them. If you want pristine surroundings - Hopkins might not be for you. If you want friendly people, authentic Garifuna culture, and a great place to stay in the middle of it all - then Coconut Row is the best!!
We had a wonderful time. This was our first time in Hopkins. It was easy to find, parking was not a problem and the store was a very quick walk. We booked a fishing trip and that was amazing. We even got to eat the fish we caught. I would highly recommend staying here. The kitchen was decked out with all the supplies you would need. It even has things I don\'t have in my own house!
