This striking villa, fully focused to sea, is truly a gem on the southeastern coast of Curacao. The house is bathed from morning to evening in the sun and breathe the Caribbean atmosphere. The sleek architecture stands in nice contrast to the attractive interior with attention to details. The perfect combination of luxurious comfort and atmosphere that makes your stay a delight.
 
Overlooking the Caracas Bay, the Spanish Water and Jan Thiel Bay, you come here, relax. Palm trees and bougainvilleas in the garden provide a wonderful setting of the house. Of course you can enjoy your private pool and an outdoor shower. The ideal place to enjoy the sun or have a drink at the always sultry evenings.
 
On the ground floor is the garden villa, on the first floor the penthouse. Completely separated from each other, with plenty of privacy, but if you are with a larger group, you can book both together and enjoy all the luxury.
 
In the garden villa on the ground floor you can enjoy a beautifully landscaped garden with the swimming pool, with beautiful sea views at the front. 
 
Naturally, the beautiful living room offers plenty of living space with a lounge corner with flat screen TV. Thanks for the luxury kitchen with modern appliances invites you to prepare delicious meals. 
 
The 2 covered outdoor terraces with lounge corner and a large dining table, contribute to the wonderful outdoor life that you can always enjoy on Curaçao.
 
The garden villa is equipped with a master bed room, which is extra luxuriously equipped with a spacious walk-in wardrobe, a spacious bathroom with 2 sinks, a freestanding bath, toilet and bidet, also a spacious shower is present, where you can put the shutters open.
 
The other two spacious bedrooms both feature a wardrobe, a bathroom with sink and toilet with a semi-outdoor shower where you have the opportunity to experience the free feeling of showering outdoors.
 
Obviously there are very comfortable box springs that ensure that you'll wake up rested. The bedrooms have air conditioning so you can determine a comfortable temperature itself. 
Bookings in the Christmas period are at least 14 days. in 2018 this is from 22 December to 6 January.

Fabulous place!


We spent 2 wonderful weeks at this exquisite property. What a luxurious treat to stay in such a beautiful home. Spacious, clean and decorated tastefully to the finest details. There were many days that we spent the day lounging in the beautiful garden at the pool, barbecuing for an al fresco meal. Such a personal welcome from Luisa the manager who explained everything to us to make us feel comfortable along with a chilled bottle of white wine waiting in the fridge upon arrival. The location of this home is ideal with Jan Thiel beach within walking distance, grocery store within walking distance along with many lovely restaurants and cafes. The neighborhood is the most beautiful on the island, safe and offering spectacular views. We called it the “Beverly Hills” of Curacao. There is also the best snorkelling spot on the island about 5 minutes away. The owners George and Simone sincerely want you to experience the most comfortable holiday to the very last detail. Comfortable beds, fine linens, top quality appliances in a kitchen that has everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal. We especially enjoyed the spacious shower, while the shutters are open, allows you to feel like you are showering outside. Every aspect of this home is sheer modern luxury. We had no need for air conditioning offered in the bedrooms because of the beautiful refreshing ocean breeze. This home allows you to enjoy fresh air no matter where you chose to sit. We thoroughly enjoyed the salt water pool which was sparkling clean and refreshing. You can’t help but feel like a celebrity staying here especially when the tourist bus comes by and they mention “Riccavita” and the passengers want to take photos of this outstanding home. I had to hurry up and book for next year before my friends scoop up this gem.

Perhaps our best vacation rental ever!


We prefer to rent houses and villas when we travel and we\'ve done it several times. This villa in Jan Thiel beach is every bit as advertised - and even better! It\'s a spacious, open, airy villa with both indoor and outdoor living rooms, a well-furnished kitchen, its own pool, deck and outdoor eating area and three great bedrooms (especially the master suite). Simone\'s artwork is displayed throughout - lovely! The night breezes allowed us to sleep with the windows open and enjoy the evening air. We cooked dinner on the outdoor grill twice during our stay. This villa had the most elegant wine glasses of any house we have ever rented. The gym and spinning studio was nearby and we spent time at Jan Thiel and Mambo beaches most days. This was our first trip to Curacao; Simone and her onsite agent Luisa helped make it a wonderful trip for our family. We\'ll be back.

Picture perfect


We stayed at Riccavita for 2 weeks during Christmas and New Years and rented both the up and the downstairs. We had 10 family members and was a great space. Was lovely to have 2 kitchens. Kitchen and living areas were great with all the amenities. Villa was in a very good area close to beaches, golf and groceries. The vehicle that came with the unit was a good size for 5 people comfortably. Pool areas were very nice but would have benefitted with a ladder or steps for easier access. Beds were singles with separate sheets and could have been more comfortable if a single sheet and cover could have been used. Would definitely go back!!!! Luisa was great and did a grocery shop for us before we arrived as our flight came in the evening. Thank you!!!

Absolutly fabulous stay at Riccavita


We had a fantastic holiday enjoying all the luxury the villa offers. It has everything you could possibly want. Would definately go back To stay at Riccavita. The best villa in Curaçao. We Highly reccomend it to anyone looking for a luxury place to stay in jan thiel.

Top villa!


Had a very nice holiday in this villa. Everything has been thought of. A nice spacious and clean house, with a nice and neat finish. Beautiful spacious bedrooms with a private bathroom ... top! Very nice that the ground floor and upper floor each have their own terrace and swimming pool, each lying on a different side of the house so that you do not have any noise from each other. Location is perfect, within walking distance of the supermarket and the beach at Zanzibar.
