Sleeps: 8'Wonderful property, congratulations to the owners for the selection of this homestead overlooking its own cove'. Hawks Cry is located at the northern most tip of the island, where the trade winds are refreshing. The spacious interior has been professionally designed to reflect Caribbean outdoor living. There are beautiful views down into Anse Galet cove below and across to Martinique. Hawks Cry is an ideal retreat for couples, or perfect for a group of family or friends and their children. The bi-fold balcony doors give open air living to the house. We have had several honeymooners who all adored Hawks Cry. The first wedding took place here in August 2014, planned by Awesome Caribbean Weddings. Cassandra Black, the opera singer, and her husband said, 'We can't praise the place enough. It was simply surreal to have our happy moment there. Many thanks, Cassandra & James Baxter'. Perfect for weddings, honeymooners, bird watchers, kite surfers and sailors, to name just a few. Birds of prey, including Osprey, have been seen hunting in the area. Humpback Whales and Orcas can be seen from the balcony during their migration. Turtles can be observed laying their eggs on nearby beaches. Tree frogs and sounds of the sea lull you to sleep at night. The gardens are landscaped and planted with palms and tropical flowers, attracting Humming Birds - a perfect place for nature lovers. Within a short drive is Rodney Bay Marina, which has shopping, banking and dining facilities. A further few minutes down the road is Rodney Bay, the island's entertainment capital with shopping malls, a casino, restaurants and a lively night life.

We rented Hawks Cry for 10 days and had an excellent time. We are a family of 6 (4 kids and 2 adults) and Hawks Cry was the perfect size and location. The house provides excellent views of the ocean and nearby hills while be more than roomy for our very active family. We had originally decided against renting a car and was relying on taxi\'s but decided 2-days in the rent a car. Kris was absolutely fantastic in accommodating this late request and even had the car delivered for us. Nothing for us to do but sign papers and drive! Thanks Kris! Our new found independence allowed us to further explore the northern part of the island at our leisure. I would not only recommend visiting the island but definitely would recommend staying at Hawks Cry.
Hawks Cry is a great place to stay. I was there with my cousins and found it exceptional, amazing views and lovely and clean villa. Chris and Rena we thank you for allowing us to stay in such a beauty. The house was great! Each of the rooms comes with a private balcony and bathroom. The main living room was wonderful with the glass doors which open up so you feel like you\'re outside with the refreshing breeze. Talk about \"God’s grace\".. The pool is for the entire complex, basically private as we did not see another person swimming there. Highly Recommended.
This property is very bit as amazing as the photos deemed it to be. The house is so spacious and beautifully decorated, with very effective air-conditioning. Although it is not always required as the beauty of the location, at the tip of the island, ensures a delightful breeze blows through the house if you have the terrace doors wide open. At night, the nets above the bed ensure that no insects get close should you prefer to switch the air-con off and open the bedroom door and listen to the waves against the cove below. I\'d agree that the pool was not used by anybody else for the 10 days that we stayed. Residents in this small community live and work on the island and therefore I guess, are not down at the pool as a holidaymaker would be. The house was well looked after by the lovely housekeeper, Rena. In addition, we felt very secure as there is also a nightwatchman keeping an eye on the small development thorough the night. Everyone that we met was so friendly and welcoming. The location is ideal for it\'s proximity to Rodney Bay, yet it was so lovely to come back up to Cap Estate for the breeze.
I was fortunate to be invited for a lunch at Hawks Cry!\' What a wonderful visit I had! It is a brilliant property! A spectacular location! I enjoyed it all!!
This property is very well situated. We\'re a family of four with two grown children. The layout of the property is excellent- three bedrooms downstairs- two with double beds and en suites. The master is upstairs giving great separation from the kids. The view is to die for- and we got lots of use out of the plunge pool. Rena the housekeeper is very friendly - a great cook - and keeps the property in top shape. Highly recommend! Note- a car is required at this property unless you want to call for taxis.
