Sleeps: 4We have been renting our condo for over 10 years, so you can book with confidence! We offer a ground floor, beachfront, 2bd/2bth, beautifully decorated condo for you to enjoy. We have a huge patio with a panoramic view the Costa Azul beach and the sand is 5 steps from the patio. Enjoy the most beautiful sunrises while sipping your morning coffee. We have a full kitchen, TV/DVD player, stereo, and brand new air conditioners. Ocean views from almost every angle in the condo. Take in the gorgeous views of the ocean from the master bedroom, as you prepare your meals, or as you relax in the living room. The La Jolla complex is a beautiful, tropically landscaped complex, with 2 pools and 24 security. Free Wi-Fi in condo and by the pool. World famous Zipper's surf spot is a 10 min walk from our patio. You can walk to great restaurants and downtown San Jose is 5 minutes by car. You will find shopping and markets within a very short distance. We are 20 minutes from the airport and 25 minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas. We invite you to our 'slice of paradise!
We are native Southern Californians and although we love where we live, we've always dreamed of having a home right on the ocean, and have worked hard to make our dream a reality. Mike works in the health care field and Lori works in the airlines industry. Both careers afford ample flexibility and we enjoy our condo as much as we can. Our hobbies include travel, tennis, surfing, diving, to name a few. We have found a place where we can enjoy all the things we love in surroundings that take our breath away!Mike and Lori purchased this Condo in 2007

We just returned home from another great stay at Lori & Mike’s condo. This was our third, two week, stay and will certainly be back again. If you are considering staying here, let me point out a few things to consider. When you arrive, the condo will be meticulously cleaned and ready for your arrival and if you get a mid-stay cleaning, Maty will return it to it’s original spotless condition. You’ll have the best seat anywhere for amazing sunrises and, if you’re there at the right time, moonrises. There are beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, floaties, and beach toys for your use on the beach, which is only a few steps from the amazing front patio. There’s a great electric grill for you to cook the wonderful fresh seafood you can buy from the “Fish Ladies” who come by every Friday. There is reliable WIFI in the condo if you have to stay connected to the real world. There are 2 nice pools with lots of pool side chairs and umbrellas. You don’t really need a car, you can easily walk or take public transportation around the city. The bus from Mega (LaComer) is 12.5 pesos to ride downtown. You can also take a bus to Cabo San Lucas for about $2.00us and the bus stop is right across the highway from LaJolla. The complex is very safe, with 24 hour security and a caring, friendly, staff. Make sure you go to the “Art Walk” downtown on Thursday evenings and check out the many recommendations in the Activities Book in the condo. We share the condo, and split the rent, with another couple which makes it very affordable, especially for a place with this perfect location.
The location is amazing - walk out the back door, hop two small walls, and you\'re on the beach. You can hear the crashing of the waves from the bedroom! Great location for small kids - a wall to keep them in, and direct access to the beach on this great ground floor condo. Laundry is not in the condo; it is across the small parking lot in the adjacent building. Free, bring your own soap. You need to sign up for a 3 hour time slot on the signup sheet, there are 3 slots a day. A pack-n-play is in the unit, along with some sand toys, inflatable pool ring floats (for bigger kids, 7+), 2 beach umbrellas, and some beach chairs. Kitchen has an assortment of standard pots/pans, blender, lime squeezer, plenty of glasses, and lots of spices and such. There is no dishwasher. We would come back without hesitation! The heated pool is great for kids; the end near the stairs is maybe 2\' deep, easy for a smaller child (4ish) to stand on the bottom. Lots of pool lizards too!
We spent a month at La Jolla, a lovely spot if you want wide open beaches and sunshine. The accommodation was great, well maintained and regularly cleaned. The living room and main bedroom opened out on to a wide secluded well set up patio which looked out over the ocean.A nice spot to have dinner and relax during the evening. It\'s our intention to go back.
This ground floor La Jolla unit was spotless and very well appointed for guests. Not having to go out and buy every little item was so refreshing- the owners provided so many sundries that most units are missing. And enjoying daily meals on the spacious patio was a delight- several other family members staying at La Jolla requested we eat dinner at the comfy and picturesque dining table steps from the ocean. We would definitely book this unit again- thank you for sharing this beautiful gem!
We had an excellent two week stay in this condo over Christmas 2017. Lori the owner was very attentive to all my email questions and the condo had everything we needed..and MORE. The condo is well decorated, comfortable, and is excellently located in G Building in the La Jolla complex of condos. The 10 feet step to the beach, the morning sunrises, and quiet buikding is well worth the daily cost. Don\'t hesitate to rent this condo from Lori and Mike they have excellent customer service and will rent here again in tje near future!!
Feet from the beach, feet from the pool, in a quiet, relaxing condo complex! The condo was clean, well furnished and appointed. Has everything you need for a family of 4 . The residents of the complex we all incredibly friendly - we were invited to watch baby sea turtles being released, offered fresh caught tuna; and learned a great recipe for cooking up tuna from another. Our kids loved the pool closest to the condo (the deeper one); we had fun using the pool toys, and watching the iguana\'s that live under the rocks near the pool. We highly recommend staying here! 2 great restaurants within walking distance, a mega store just minutes by car, and great surf/dive shop nearby as well. Our favorite activity by far was the Dolphin Discovery Center in San Jose Del Cabo. We did the signature swim, and it was incredible - definitely a highlight of our trip. My young family of four stayed here for several days. We watched the sun rise every morning. Security was tight, the pool was clean and it\'s right on the beach. There are a number of retired Canadians who reside full time at La Jolla. Everyone was extremely nice, but it may not be the best fit if you\'re looking to party (we were decidedly not). Lori was a pleasure to work with and very communicative.
Our family\'s stay was amazing. The description of condo and location was exactly what we were told and the amenities made our vacation a memorable one. My family had fun and we were able to also relax by the pool or beach. The views from the condo were breathtaking. I highly recommend staying here because of location, amenities and close proximity to downtown San Jose Del Cabo. It is also just a short ride into the main downtown of Cabo.
Really enjoyed our time at La Jolla! Excellent ocean front condo with breathtaking views and convenient parking. Condo\'s size and layout are great. Nicely decorated and comfortable living and dining rooms, well equipped and stocked kitchen, and beautiful outdoor area. We felt like home. The owners are very accommodating and responsive. Thank you for sharing your vacation place and we are looking forward to returning in the near future.
