Welcome to Casa de Playa. 
This 6 bedroom plus 1 bedroom apartment Mediterranean style beachfront house is perfect for large groups and/or families, it fits up to 14 people comfortably. The house is located right in front of one of the real Flamingo beach, just go down 15 stairs and you'll have your feet right onto the white soft sand of the one of  most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica.
 
The house has a master bedroom upstairs overlooking the ocean, its has a king sized bedroom, living room with a TV and a large Master bathroom with hot tub. Downstairs you'll find five more bedroom, 1 bedroom with a double sized bed and it's own full bathroom,  2 bedrooms with 1 double sized bed each one sharing a full bathroom and two more bedrooms with 2 twin sized beds each one sharing a full bathroom. Totally separate from the house there is a 1 bedroom apartment with a queen sized bed, living area and full bathroom.
 
Among the amenities you'll enjoy an infinity edge pool overlooking the beach, 4 kayaks free to use for the guests, free WiFi, A large screen TV with DVD player is located upstairs in the master bedroom, the Flamingo Marina is located at the south end of the bay and the top rated restaurant Coco Loco is located only 500 meters from the house.
 
Daily cleaning and handyman onsite everyday  is included in the rental. Judith, Francisco and Isaías are the caretakers of the house and property. Judith provides maid/cleaning service and she also cooks delicious Costa Rican food. Isaías is in charge of the cleaning of the pool, garden and the area outside the house. Francisco watches the property at night.

Amazing!


Our vacation was beyond amazing! This was our first time visiting Costa Rica. We were traveling with a group of 12...adults and children and the house was plenty spacious. The location was perfect! Laura was so very helpful at coordinating our excursions and always called to see how everything we went. We were celebrating a birthday while there and she even went the extra mile to surprise us with a cake during our catamaran ride! Can\'t say enough about Marco who was so very attentive and took excellent care of us making sure there was always a cooler of drinks ready and chilled in the van. The house cat, Conchita was a really nice touch and both kids and adults became very attached to her. Isaias and Francisco made sure the grounds and pool were pristine. We made many great memories while there and are already planning to return. Pura Vida!!!

Excellent location and great staff.


The property was wonderful for our family gathering of 11. Terrific location. Judith, our cook, was amazing and awesome food and she did the room cleaning also. Laura was wonderful at coordinating all the transportation and excursions and checking with us if there was anything else we needed. The grounds staff did a great job, keeping the property safe and clean. We did have an AC unit that went out and due to the week of Easter it was a challenge to get staff out to the property to fix it. It was fixed and it worked wonderfully thereafter. The best location on the Playa Flamingo beach and we would definitely go back ! Pura Vida

Amazing beach property with incredible views!!! This place is a memory maker!!


When we walked onto the property we were taken back by the beauty of the ocean views and the property itself!!! The infinity pool is spectacular! The sounds of the ocean will lull you to sleep. This property is located on a fantastic beach which is about 1 1/2 miles long and there are not many people on the beach so it is almost like you have the beach to yourself. The sand is soft and the water is warm. Our family enjoyed snorkeling around the rocks that were right off the side of the beach. The staff was very attentive and the meals they made were delicious! They had coffee ready for us first thing in the morning, kept our rooms cleaned and always wen t the extra mile to make our stay more enjoyable! Laura, our concierge, was such a huge help! She corresponded with us via email before we arrived and answered all of our questions. She picked up our groceries and the house was stocked for our arrival. She also arranged our excursions and travel. She did a great job even with a few misunderstandings. The house had a unique layout. The master bedrooms and the apartment had their own bathroom connected to the inside of the room. The other bedrooms and bathrooms had their own separate entrances that opened off of the terrace. It worked well for our family as there was more privacy. The house also had a commercial washer and dryer which was really nice to have available. We felt totally safe at the home and on the beach. We walked down the beach at night to Coco Loco, which is a 5 minute walk. Coco Loco was a great little restaurant that had great food and all of the tables were right on the beach. There were no bugs, just good food and fun! If you walked about 5 minutes more down the beach there was a resort called The Flamingo Beach Resort and they had a great 2nd floor bar that had a great view of the sunset. Their staff was also very customer service friendly and such a fun group! I would highly recommend Casa de la Playa! This place is special in so many ways!! I will am going to miss the feeling of \"paradise\" we felt when we were there, but we look forward to going back again in the future!!

Couples Trip to Costa Rica


We recently returned from a 7 night stay at Casa de la Playa with four couples and we had a great trip. The house is located \"perfectly\" on a beautiful beach with the ability to walk to several local restaurants and bars. The outside pool area and patio are magnificent and very well supplied with lounge chairs, patio chairs, cushions and a ton of pool towels. The inside of the house can sleep a lot of people and for the most part is private. I must say the interior of the house needs some work. Nothing major but houses on the beach like Casa de la Playa need constant attention. If you asked me if I would stay there again my answer would be yes, but it does need work. Our caretaker Francisco and housekeeper Zulma were awesome. I\'d also like to give our Concierge Laura from All Costa Rica Rental a shout out. She was super setting up all our trips. From fishing, jungle boat tour, zip lining, sailing and ATV, we did it all. Overall a great place to stay.

An incredible vacation home on Flamingo Beach


We love Casa de la Playa. This was our second year experiencing this fabulous home, staff, the grounds, pool, beach and ocean. Our large family of 14, grandparents, children and grandchildren, ages 22 to 82, can\'t wait to return. Can\'t say enough about our concierge Laura who was hands on everyday for our slightest whim. Thank you so much for your above and beyond service Laura. Coupled with the house staff and driver Olivier, we were very well fed and had local and far away adventures and were very well taken care of. The layout of the home and Casita is excellent and the super close proximity of the pool, beach and ocean plus boogie boards and kayaks and morning surfing, makes everyday an adventure. Or not. You can choose to lounge around on the patios and read, or float in the beautiful Infiniti pool. The sunsets are spectacular and In the evening we would play games, make music, or dance on the patio under the the beautiful moon and stars. We love this wonderful home and are planning our third trip to this lovely paradise on Flamingo Beach.

Great location - Beach House


It was our second visit to the \"Casa de la Playa\" and we once again really enjoyed our stay. The property is under new management and things have improved since our last stay in 2016 but it is still a beach house. Since our last stay they have replaced all the Air Conditioning units and the tile on the patio and repaired the door at the beach and reduced the ant problem but there are still things that need attention. Bathroom fixtures, toliet seats, windows cracked or missing glass, lighting in many areas are still in need of attention/repair. The out door grill is still functional but not what we are accustom to and is right under one of the HVAC drains so if it is on your going to have it dripping on the grill as you try and cook. Still all in all a great place if you can over look these issues and focus on the location and the fact that there is ample room for family/friends to spread out and enjoy the beauty of Playa Flamingo. The staff is excellent and the management company helpful. We had a great time and plan on returning.
