Come rowing along the beautiful beaches or bring your boat and explore over 7 miles of pristine Maranacook Lake. It would not be long before you found a loon, osprey, bald eagle, blue heron or other wildlife. The water quality of Lake Maranacook is exceptional, for doing great swimming, fishing and other recreational uses.
 
My house is located on the east coast so you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. The open floor plan concept boasts great views of the lake from the large living room and into the informal dining area. It also includes a spacious kitchen, formal dining room, and an entrance hall (with laundry and toilet). From the main floor step out onto the 40 foot wooden deck overlooking the lake: there is always a gentle breeze, keeping you remarkably free of flying insects. A concrete patio (under the deck, at daylight basement level) also runs the entire length of the house. The gazebo is located on the lower deck which offers a table for four and additional seating.
 
The games room (24 x 16) in the daylight basement offers yet another view of the lake! Enjoy a game of ping pong or move it out of the way for other games. The game room also includes a home theater, sofa / bed.
 
The upper level is where all three bedrooms and full bath are located. The master bedroom has a large window overlooking the lake with a queen bed. The medium size bedroom also has a view of the lake (through the treetops!), With a queen and single bed. The third (larger) bedroom offers a full sofa and futon (bed). All three bedrooms have air conditioning. The full bathroom has a separate shower and bath and two sinks.

Home away from home!


We stayed at this property from 8/19/17 until 08/26/17. The home is spacious and clean. Everything we could possibly want was there in order to enjoy our stay. The lake is beautiful and the evening concert by the loons was incredibly relaxing! The owner was very helpful and accommodating, which made the stay even better! We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great Week !!


We had a great week at this wonderful location. Beautiful view, very clean, beds were comfortable. I left my blow dryer by mistake, I texted Dennis to ask if there was anyway I would be able to send it to me, within 2 hours of us leaving to head back to PA, Dennis had taken it to the post office and sent me the tracking number. I was amazed at his kindness !! We will totally rebook this location. Beautiful lakefront home !!!

Georgous lakefront home


My family and I could not ask for a better vacation than this. Complete with all the amenities and then some. We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival with the beauty and cleanliness inside. Greeted with fresh flowers and baked chocolate chip cookies. Dennis was extremely helpful and courteous throughout the entire process of booking through leaving. We were made to feel at home here. Plenty to do for the whole family. Our children were never bored, between Xbox, Wii, games, swimming and fishing they had plenty to entertain them. We were able to enjoy the sunrise and sunset on the deck and had plenty of room to entertain our family who lives in Maine. Another bonus is the grocery store was about 5 minutes from us. We greatly appreciate the hospitality we were shown.
