La Maison Vacation Rental is an in-town mansion built in 1858. Architecturally, it is a classic two story Greek Revival Italianate townhouse with a double-galleried balcony and side bay windows. Originally, the property was a single family home with an attached carriage house (known as the slave quarters). 
 
Total privacy....free access to Wi-Fi and  free off-street parking. Experience living in a 162 year old mansion, receiving amenities and services you deserve, and participating in cultural diversity - matched no where else in the USA. Simply pack your bags and come home. 
 
Where luxury is affordable...that is designed to fit your budget and taste. 
Sleeps up to eight persons. We accept cash, money orders, or printed personal checks. Our vacation rental apartment is self contained. Basic cleaning supplies, tools, etc. are provided in the apartment.

Sleeps 2 couples or 5 singles TV in living room and master bedroom. Equipped chief’s kitchen Wi Fi ready, Washer and Dryer, Reserved (free) parking space. The door length windows open on to the private balcony. Private Balcony – watch Zulu Parade. 
 
Apartment B1– B1 2nd Floor Rear 990 Sq. Ft. of living space. Furnished – 1 bedroom & shower/tub bathroom Queen size bed & 2 twin size sofa beds. Sleeps 1 couple & 2 singles or 3 singles. TV in the living room/dining area. An Equipped kitchen. Wi-Fi ready. Washer and Dryer. Reserved parking space. Entrance opens facing the garden/parking area.
 
Apartment C - 1st floor Private Entrance, 826 sq. ft. living area, Master bedroom (Q) bed & shower, bathroom, W/D, Sleeps a single or a couple, Living/dining area & TV, Equipped chief’s kitchen, Wi-Fi access.
 
Apartment D - 2nd Floor rear788 Sq. Ft. of living space, private entrance. Furnished – 1 bedroom; shower/tub bathroom Queen size bed and extra-long sofa. Sleeps 1 couple or 2 singles. TV in the bedroom, can be rolled into the living/dining area.

Jessie Marie is the owner/operator. As a child growing up in New Orleans, she dreamed of owning a mansion. As a graduate student, learning about all types and function of shelter, the dream of owning a B&B in New Orleans began to take shape. Thus, upon graduating with a Masters in City & Regional Planning, the family business was borned.
I have 40 years of experiences in the field of housing development: managing a 16,000 unit public housing authority for the City of New Orleans; experience in restoration of historic property, and residential space design. My oldest daughter has 20+ years of experience as an artist and is the housekeeper and interior curator. My youngest daughter is a CPA and supervises the the finance and book keeping. The family is excited about owning and operating the first African-American owned in Louisiana. The passion for excellence been the driving force in the business for the last 32 years.

Terms & Conditions

CANCELLATIONS – All cancellations will be charged $100 deducted from the advanced deposit, without exception. Cancellations of reservations for special event will be charged the full advanced deposit. There is no refund if cancellation is within the month of arrival or is an early departure.
 
DAILY MAID SERVICE – Is available and should be contracted for upon arrival. Vacation Rental apartments are self contained. Basic cleaning supplies, etc. are provided in the apartment. If daily/weekly maid service is wanted, requests must be made and paid for at check-in.
