Rosanna Ranieri

Years ago I went back to Italy the land I was born in and grew up.I have lived my adult life in the USA ,my home of nearly forty years . The visit tho the land i was born in, where I went to school created a feeling of yearning , an ache, that would linger and augment thru the years.I fell in love with the little house on the hill ,recognized its potential so I,convinced my cousin to sell it to me and by miracle her mother agreed to have me purchase it;she had been reluctant to sell to others so many times before...My dream came thru and with enthusiasm I proceeded to transform the Little house into Villarosa the jewel it is now. rosanna ranieri purchased this villa in 2001

Feeling like home, away from home

We spent seven days in this beautiful tree-bedroom house and we felt great, with a marvelous living room and a fully equipped kitchen! But above all this, we will never forget the amazing view from the roof top, perfect for our morning coffee time. The garden was very beautiful and offered us a delicious variety of fruits. The nearest restaurant called \"la Terassa\" delighted us with their local italian cousine. The atmosphere of the town, Gerace, was joyful and relaxing at the same time. Also, the beach which was ten minutes from the house with the car, spred alongside the coast on several kilometers. Words cannot describe what a lovely time we had !We felt like on the top of the world! We can only recommend to see it for yourself ! Thank you Rosanna and Santiana for all the help and for making our holiday so much more beautiful !

A Villa you can call home away from home

Tranquility, Serenity, pictorrest views all that one can imagine , privacy , trustful and very caring owner Rosanna and her sister Santina that made sure we have all the needs that we wanted , VillaRosa have a great potential for its location a place to fall in love with and one will start to imagine what will you add to it if it was yours not as for the building and warm decoration itself but for the stretch of private land with olive trees that surround it, I will come back

A gem in southern Italy!

This is a wonderful house with beautiful views of the sea and countryside. The owner is very responsive and the whole process of arriving and departing was very easy. The villa has everything you need and was very clean. In a word, perfect!

Villarosa...Unforgettable Adevnture!!

Beautiful, serene surroundings both inside and out! The wonderfully appointed interior was completely furnished, very comfortable and met all of out needs. The views from the top floor of the villa were magnificent. On the grounds of Villarosa, we found olive trees, pomegranate trees, lime trees and persimmon bushes. We found the people of Gerace and Locri to be very friendly and helpful especially since we had minimal command of the Italian language. The food and wine were thoroughly enjoyed. One of our favorite restaurants was San Souci in Locri. Another restaurant that was easy to find with great food was La Terrazza. It was just up the road from Villarosa. Found and enjoyed a local red wine called Terre Di Gerace. My husband and I ventured out on our own to find the many museums, archeological sites, and churches in Southern Italy and ,again, found people willing and able to help us find our way. We rented a small diesel, manual shift car that worked great on the very curvy roads. We found so much to do that we will need to return to this wonderful place called Villarosa!

Beautiful villa overlooking Agean sea

We had a wonderful time during our visit at this outstanding villa. The villa was extremely clean and well stocked with all your needs. If you are looking for luxurious accommodations in peaceful quiet surroundings this is the place for you. If driving, make sure to rent a small car - narrow roads.
