Description

The Lorelei Cabins are located in Dubuque, Iowa, near Swiss Valley Park. The beautifully decorated cabin is perfect for any getaway. The cabin is in an area with over 400 acres of land, yet close enough to the city of Dubuque to enjoy the restaurants, shopping, and other amenities a city has to offer.

A perfect place for a family gathering, reunion, wedding or a romantic getaway. Each season has it's own unique offerings, with the vibrant leaves in the fall, the snow activities in the winter, and the relaxing tranquility of the ponds and Catfish Creek in the spring and summer.

The sunsets are abundant, and the lights of the city are a beautiful back drop to this area. Viewing the wild life and various scenes of nature are an experience everyone can appreciate. Walking in the woods, having a picnic or bird watching, is also recommended.

Great getaway from the every day hustle and bustle. Perfect romantic outing for any couple.

The cabin had everything we needed to make a great weekend. Just wish we had more time (and a little better weather) to enjoy the trails around the property. Will definitely come again and maybe even bring more family next time time:)

Nice quiet, relaxing get away!

Everything went smoothly, great communication from Laura. The property is excellent, clean, well cared for, and pleasant. We loved the trails and wildlife. Hot tub was a great way to start the day. Very comfortable, thanks!

Amazing as always!!

The cabins were fully stocked and ready for us along with freshly baked cookies on the table! The hospitality was amazing and everything from the hot tub to kayaking was amazing!

Anniversary

We stayed for an anniversary weekend and I would recommend it for anybody. The cabin has absolutely anything you could need from pots and pans to towels up the wazoo. Very relaxing. Hot tub beneath the stars, amazing! Amazing restaraunts around town. Beautiful views of the river. I love it. All of it. Would come back a million times over.

Breathtaking surrounding and an exquisite cabin.

Enjoyed our anniversary at the Edelweiss cabin. Very clean and well decorated interior. We had a fantastic stay for two nights in February and had perfect weather. Sunshine, light winds and temps in the high 60\'s. We enjoyed the private hiking trails, sitting out along the serene pond, enjoying the hot tub and sitting at the fire pit in the evening seeing all the stars in the clear dark sky above. It was so quiet and relaxing to be there. We also enjoyed all the eagles we saw flying in the awesome clear blue skies and watching the deer from the cabin in the early morning and at dusk. What a wonderful place and we want to go back again this year. Thanks to Laura and Jim for sharing their lovely property with us.
