Stay directly on the beach in this lovely 3 bedroom two bath home! Get right on the sand via your own secured gate off the back patio. Watch spectacular sunsets over the Coronado Islands whilst sipping Margaritas on your patio. Lounge in the sun or barbecue on one of three  private patios. Enjoy quality family time in the pleasant ocean breezes with a view to die for!
 
Villa Marysol is fully loaded with everything a guest could want. Amenities include full upgraded kitchen, dishwasher, blender, Keurig and starter pods, regular coffee maker, pantry items, full complement of kitchen utensils and cutlery, washer, dryer, dining table for 8, breakfast bar, cable TV, DVD player, library books and more.
 
Suitability: Sleeps up to 8 in bedrooms and on sofas. Non smoking in the house. Children welcome. Pets welcome. Not wheelchair accessible.  No loud parties or fireworks! 
 
Minimum stay length is two days from September to June, with a three day holiday weekend minimum. There is a 5 day minimum stay in July and August, and at Christmas.

Master bedroom: King sized bed with en suite bathroom, ample closet space.
Bedroom 2: Queen sized bed with ample closet space, bathroom across the hall.
Bedroom 3: A glassed in study with sliding doors, full privacy curtains, and a queen pull-out sofa.
 
The living room has two large sofas suitable for sleeping. Ample extra bedding is provided.
 
Barbecue: A portable charcoal barbecue is stored in the garage. We do not supply charcoal, but there is usually some available from previous guests.
 
Patio: 3 private patios, including two smaller wind-protected ones. Large round table with seating for about 6. Umbrellas. Lounge chairs and wicker easy chairs.  Outdoor "Chiminea" type fireplace. 
 
Parking: Villa Marysol has a one car garage and one outside parking spot. Adjacent street parking is amply available in this gated community.
 
Security: The house is in a gated community with 24 hour patrols. The community is located in a nice middle to upper class area of town.
 
Approach: This house is located 22 miles from the US San Diego border, about 25 minute drive after crossing. Explicit driving instructions and maps are emailed to all guests.
 
Shopping: A Walmart Supercenter with a large grocery section is located on the approach to the house, about 5 minutes away. A huge Soriana Hypermarket is located about 10 minutes drive away. Lots of other chains and local markets are in the area. You will find that most grocery prices are much lower than in the US.
 
Nightlife: Rosarito Beach has a wide variety of world class restaurants. Since Baja California is the home of the Fish Taco, here are lots and lots of taco stands, which offer inexpensive street food. Rosarito also has a few nightspots, such as the Roasarito Beach Hotel and adjacent beach bars.
 
What to do: Besides lounging on the beach or patio, i ts easy to fill a week with various activities in the area. Surfing, swimming, horse rides on the beach, ultra light plane rides, ziplines, hiking, mountain climbing, to name a few. Interesting excursions would include Fox Film studios nearby, wine country outings to Val de Guadeloupe and San Tomas, a day trip to pretty Ensenada and thriving Tijuana. Suggestions on restaurants and other activities are in our guest book in the house foyer. For the avid deep sea fisherman, nearby Ensenada  has many charter opportunities.

Terms & Conditions

Payment may be made by bank transfer, check or PayPal. Detailed payment instructions are sent to all guests upon booking. Bookings made within 60 days of arrival are to be paid in full upon billing. Bookings made more than 60 days before arrival pay half the rental amount upon billing, the balance is due 30 days before arrival.
 
If a guest cancels the reservation more than 60 days before arrival, a refund of 100% is given. If a guest cancels the reservation more than 30 days before arrival, a refund of 50% is given. No refunds if cancellation is within 30 days of arrival.

Additional Rate details

A one-time cleaning fee of $50 will be charged.

Great weekend getaway with Family


We recently stayed here for a weekend getaway with the family. The house had a great Spanish/Mediterranean feel and an awesome view of the islands off the coast from the terrace and from the kitchen. Spent most of our time on the terrace while the kids enjoyed the beach. The gated community was safe and the house was stocked with everything we needed. Would definitely refer to a friend.

Best Views, Fabulous Beach Front Home!


have been down to this beach house a number of times throughout the years. The house is super easy to get to from the border and is in a secured complex. This particular home is beach front, just walk outside and feel the sand under your feet. Or stay inside and lookout through the large picturesque windows. The kitchen and living room/dining room are an open floor plan which is perfect for being able to cook fajitas while your friends are enjoying margaritas while watching colorful sunsets. Home is a good size and plenty of room in kitchen, lots of countertop space. Everything you need for cooking is already provided (not food of course) but pots, pans, plates, silverware etc. Home is beautifully decorated with 3 good sized bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The tubs are deep and wonderful for relaxing in. Closets in bedrooms are a good size. The garage has room for a car and there is also one parking spot out front. Washer and dryer not requiring quarters is in the garage. Beach is usually pretty empty, so you truly feel relaxed. I spend my time usually boogy boarding in the water, great waves for that. Plenty of my friends surf. I also have ridden horses on the beach and taken a little 2 person plane ride that soars over Rosarito Beach. Plenty to do in town which is only a few minute drive away. Lots of great shops as well as a huge outdoor market. Food is cheap and delicious. It only takes about 30 minutes to get back to the border. I always wish I could stay longer!
