The floors are all marble, and it has a cathedral ceiling, air conditioning, a safe, linens, and towels for the bath, beach and pool.
 
Your balcony over looks the resorts pool area and the gorgeous ocean.. The views are amazing! At night you can see the lights from the island of Cozumel across the sea!

There are 2 restaurants in our place, both with full bars. One of the bars has a swim up counter in the pool. The lobby restaurant also serves a breakfast buffet in the mornings. Both restaurants serve food and beverages poolside and on the beach.
 
About our neighborhood:
 
We are in the middle of Playacar Fase 1, which is a very safe, gated, beach front neighborhood at the south end of Playa del Carmen. Playacar is divided into two phases. We live in Phase 1, which is very small and private in comparison to Phase 2. It is mostly single family houses except for one other condominium and one hotel, both of which are at the entrance to our neighborhood.
 
We are about a 10 minute walk along the beach to 5th Avenue, locally known as La Quinta. There you will find hundreds of restaurants. They serve everything from tacos or ceviche to French cuisine. The atmospheres range from sand-in-your-toes to high-end, fine dining, and you can spend as little or as much as you want. If you sit at one of the outdoor restaurants, you may be treated to live music by the strolling Mariachis.

I am a US citizen but I spend most of my time here in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. My first trip here was in 1984, but I did not return again until 2004. In 2005 I decided to buy my first property here. Although I still maintain a lake house in Massachusetts, an apartment in Manhattan and an apartment in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, this is my home. In addition to the local Mexicans and Mayans, you will meet people from all over the world here. We have had guests from countries like Germany, Holland, South Africa, Israel and others, as well as Mexico, the US and Canada. Everybody who comes here falls in love with the place, and I am sure you will too.I fell in love with this place because of the spectacular ocean right in my back yard. The powder soft sand between my toes and the multi-colored ocean waters is enough to make you not want to go home!.

Couldn't Have Been Better!


Many thanks to Penny for the great lodging. Our second visit was shorter but as outstanding as the first. Penny\'s communications were thorough, timely and extremely helpful. Most precious moments were coffee on deck with beach views and using the catamaran (included in price). What a great vacation and a great host. Thank you, we\'ll be back again soon!

Perfect location


The condo was in the perfect location for us and we liked staying at a smaller resort. The resort had everything we needed and we enjoyed the quiet 15 minute walk to town. Penny was so easy to communicate with and I enjoyed all the information that she sent about the resort and town.

Stunning Ocean View


Had an awesome time at this condo/resort. Everything as described. Penny is an awesome person to deal with and very quick with replys. Had no issues with anything at the resort and the staff very friendly. Beautiful walks on the beach going either direction. When and if we come back to PDC will definitely check with Penny about openings. Thank you!

Perfect Location


Had just retired and rented the large condo for 3 months overlooking the beach and Cozumel. It was heaven sitting on the balcony and looking at the island of Cozumel and seeing the cruise ships and at night looking at the sunsets. The Owner, Penny and Sergio, the maintenance person were the greatest. Never had problems with the rental that weren\'t looked after immediately. Never had to stay in the condo for repairs, etc. As Sergio is trustworthy as they come. The closeness to the pier and to Playa Del Carmen cannot be beat. We would have preferred a one bedroom but because there was only 2 of us, a studio was fine. An umbrella on the balcony would have been great for sunny days as it was a bit hot to sit out during the day but spent most of our time on the beach which is right there. A good property manager and maintenance person is hard to find. We are experiencing that now with other rentals and Penny and Sergio were the best so far. Would recommend to everyone.
