Fabulous vacation home, newly renovated, and wonderfully livable! Stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains await you from the spacious deck that sits atop our boathouse! Plenty of room for sunning, lounging, and diving from the top into the cool mountain lake water. We are located in the best cove on Lake Lure for swimming and accessing the lake is easy as there are only a few steps from the house to the lake. A canoe, paddle board, paddles , and floats are provided for your use.
 
Our house was just completely remodeled and expanded! Central heat and air make it comfortable year round. The brand new, state-of-the-art kitchen includes granite counter tops, a large island, and all new appliances. The kitchen is open to the living room, which includes a wet bar with beverage refrigerator, a large stone fireplace, and a 43 inch TV with Direct TV access. Both the living area and dining area are surrounded by windows, allowing enjoyment of the view even from the inside!
 
The dining area provides a table for 10, and opens onto an upstairs deck that provides space to chat, play cards, or enjoy the view. The entire upstairs (main level) offers antique heart pine floors. Easy-to-navigate interior staircase takes you downstairs. Both levels are centrally heated and cooled.
 
Sleeping accommodations are as follows, with each bedroom having its own private, spacious bathroom.
Upstairs (main level) - 1 bedroom with queen bed and full bath and second bedroom with two twin beds and full bath.
 
Downstairs -
Two very spacious bedrooms, each one of which contains a queen bed and a twin bed. Each bedroom has its own very spacious bathroom. There is additional sleeping space suitable for children provided by the use of two "floor mattresses" suitable for a sleeping bag.
There is a clothes washer and dryer in the downstairs, and linens and towels are provided.
 
A deposit of half is required to guarantee rental. There is a cleaning charge of $100 and a 5% tax is required. There is also a $300.00 refundable damage deposit required, and we do not allow pets. We are sorry that we cannot make any exceptions to the NO PETS rule.

Great vacation home!


My family stayed at this house on Lake Lure and had a wonderful vacation. The views of the mountains and the lake were amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed sunning on the boathouse in the afternoons and then floating in the lake to cool off. The sunsets were beautiful at night from the boathouse. There were several good restaurants nearby that we enjoyed as well. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants a quiet, relaxing lake vacation. We will definitely plan to return as soon as possible!

Beautiful home with spectacular view of Lake Lure


We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. It is very well equipped and each of the four bedrooms has a private bath. The decor is warm and welcoming. We did not spend much time by the lake due to the weather but really loved waking up to the view. The owners were very responsive and checked on us the day after we arrived to make sure everything was ok.

Everything we were looking for!


This lakefront home could not have been better for a weekend getaway with our group of friends. Plenty of space, beds, and bathrooms made it a very comfortable place. Beautifully decorated and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. We couldn\'t get enough of the view, what a truly peaceful location. We would love to return!

Lovely lake home!


My 10 member family enjoyed a wonderful week in this home. We had plenty of room and the house was very well equipped. The home is beautifully decorated; like a page out of Southern Living magazine! The owners were super responsive and easy to work with. The location on a small cove was quiet and relaxing. We hope to go again!

Great house with an amazing view!


What a view! We had such a great time at this lakefront home on Lake Lure. The house is spacious and beautifully appointed in every way. All the rooms had a real decorator\'s touch, no detail overlooked. We enjoyed sitting out on the boathouse and upper deck, soaking in the sun, watching the boats pass by & listening to the lapping waves. Hard to imagine a better view. Indoors is just as good with Rumbling Bald perfectly framed by the two sliding glass doors. This home is a true gem! Bill, the homeowner, made renting and access to the home a breeze. Sheets and towels were provided which made preparations for our stay very convenient. The kitchen is the perfect size with a nice big island, making meal prep easy for meals at home.

Beautiful Views, well appointed home.


I have been coming to this house for several years now, but this is the first time I have been since the renovation. Beautifully done with a large kitchen and family room. The bedrooms are very nice size and each has its own bathroom. The deck is a nice place to sit and have coffee and enjoy the views. The owner is very accessible and helpful. This home has it all, everything you need for a wonderful vacation.
