Dolce Uvita originates in early 2014 from a dream tenaciously pursued for over two years before seeing the light and being realized.Tired of the Milanese city life, we decided to change our daily routine and move to Costa Rica. For this reason in the (European) summer of 2015 we started looking for a place that would give us positive feelings and where to build our future life.Starting from the Caribbean area (Puerto Viejo de Talamanca), we went up to the Arenal and Guanacaste (Coco, Tamarindo and Samara), then head south along the Pacific Coast, passing through Jaco, Esterillos and Manuel Antonio and then further down to Dominical and finally Uvita de OSA.Once the property was acquired, the refurbishing work and the implementation of new services began in order to offer visitors Dolce Uvita as you can see it today. The name of the resort came virtually by itself, combining the famous movie (la Dolce Vita F. Fellini) with the town. The logo originated from a simple idea too: two circles intersecting themselves and identifying a third, as if to signify the union of the two cultures in a single reality.Colors have been chosen by combining the colors of the Costa Rican and Italian flag (a big thank you to LaMeg for helping with the graphic design). We will be happy to tell you personally details and anecdotes when you stay with us or if you pop-in for a coffee or an Imperial.Ferdinando e Annasilvia
