Split peninsula surrounded by the islands of Brac, Hvar, Solta and Ciovo. Ferries from the port of Split are often the only link between the central Dalmatian islands with the mainland. Panoramic is split can be seen in detail from the first Marjan vidilica or 11 km away Klis fortress from which to see the whole Split and the Split archipelago with islands.
