Rita, and her husband Gary, retired from their jobs in Los Angeles, California in June, 2002 and moved to St. Thomas that following September. As owners of units at Sapphire Village Condominiums, Rita ventured into the hospitality business and launched Condo Del Mar website in March 2003. After gaining popularity and receiving highly touted compliments on top travel bulletin boards, other owners sought her advice and assistance regarding ways to increase their short term rental occupancy.
A deposit equal to 50% of total charges is required to confirm reservations. Payments are due 7 days after making reservation. If the deposit payment is not received within that time, the reservation will automatically be canceled. All payments are payable in US funds by personal or company check, bank money order, or US Postal Money Order. Credit cards, Visa or Mastercard, are accepted for payment on some units.
Full payment required on all reservations booked under 45 days before check in date. Any balance owing for your reservation is due 30 days before check in unless other arrangements have been agreed to in writing. All payment must be in US funds by bank check, bank money order or Postal Money Order ONLY.
A fully refundable security deposit may be required on stays longer than three weeks or childern under the age of 12 years. Security deposit is refunded within 30 days of departure provided there are no deductions for damages to the unit or its contents and the unit has not been smoked in.
Your paid deposit will be refunded, less $100.00 administrative charge for cancellations occurring more than 60 days before your check-in date.
For cancellations occurring 60-30 days before your check-in date, your deposit will be forfeited.
For cancellations less than 30 days before your check-in date, full payment will be forfeited.
No refunds for any reason will be given for cancellations occurring on or after your check-in date.
Our nightly rates are for single or double occupancy in a suite. Additional guest(s) may be assessed a nightly surcharge. Rates do not include government room tax which is added to your bill when you make your reservation. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Five-night (5) minimum stay required. A cleaning fee is required on stays less than minimum. Reservations for one or two-night stays will be considered on a case by case basis.
