Howe View is situated in the quiet village of Braithwaite near Keswick in the Lake District. They also have Rock Lynn which is a self catering property two doors down. There is always a warm welcome at Howe View, and Linda will provide you with whatever you require for breakfast, full English or continental. Packed lunches may be provided on request. Both have always lived in the Keswick area and have their finger on the pulse for whatever you might want to do. The views from Howe View are some of the best the Lake District has to offer. The Skiddaw range, part of the Newlands Valley, it is also possible to see the as far as the pennines to the east. Howe View is built on the site of the original wooden house, which was demolished in 1990 and was re-built a year later to the highest of structural and decorative standards by Tony.

Howe View provides real luxury accommodation, in the heart of the English Lakes. It has two double bedrooms, both are beautifully decorated with real quality and style. The layout of the rooms is superb and they are of course both en-suites. They have tremendous view across the valley, looking towards Keswick and beyond, where you can can see the sun rise from behind Latrigg which lies on the north-east edge of Keswick and is part of the Skiddaw massif range, the summit of which is "Skiddaw" the third highest peak in the Lake District at 3,200ft. The Breakfast Room at Howe View has brilliant views across valley. The exterior of the breakfast room is nearly all glass so you can see across to Keswick the surrounding. The décor is also something special. Newly installed this year for Howe View visitors is an outdoor hot tub which is situated on the fell side just to rear of the house, this is truly a magnificent setting to take a relaxing spa with balcony one of the finest views in the Lake District, day or night! There is a welcome tray on arrival, TV, complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities, packed lunches on request.
