For couples wishing to have a special luxury break away the homestead has three private wings with Super King bedrooms and bathrooms all to yourself.

For groups we are able to comfortably accommodate around 12 couples, some will need to share bathrooms and our sharp pricing for groups reflects this.

While we operate as a lodge our style is as expected of an historic family home.
Our in house cordon bleu chef Charlotte Robinson specialises in producing the best of New Zealand fresh seasonal products in a traditional style and holds the New Zealand Beef and Lamb Hallmark of Excellence.

The size of the homestead and the number of bedrooms makes it an ideal venue for those running special reunions or weekends away with their friends or for Corporate groups and small conferences. Do ask us for a quote.

The Homestead's main formal dining room seats up to 40 people at a push with a separate formal drawing room and a less formal sitting room linked by double glass doors. Both have log fires. An Erard 1880 Grand Piano compliments the Homestead's sound system.

Large sweeping lawns, gardens, and English trees surround the homestead which has a summer heated swimming pool and pavilion complex, two grass courts (in season) and croquet lawns.

The Golf driving range, Clay Bird shooting and Archery are right off the front lawn. The pool complex has Sky TV for sports fans with a powerful sound system, 55" plasma screen, and a Warmington log fire and barbeque, ideal for functions or parties during both winter and summer.
