Brooklin is an ideal location for those looking to relax far removed from a populated city. Susan VanderlinThe Mountain Ash House is surrounded by the ocean but is walking distance to the center of Brooklin. In 1995 The Mountain Ash House began an extensive 10-year renovation.

Today the Mountain Ash House comprises two suites, each with a unique decor and ambiance. And, yes, each suite has its own quality, private bathroom. A beautiful guesthouse barn was also built on the property to accommodate horse- and dog-friendly guests. The barn is called "The Guesthouse" and it includes a large studio loft with kitchen, full bath, and queen bed. It overlooks a small pasture where you will sometime see Jax, our drafthorse, lying under the apple tree fast asleep.
