In winters, warm yourselves while lounging by one of our 4 original wood burning fireplaces. Our fabulous newly renovated 900 sq.ft. attic apartment works wonderfully for families or ladies weekends. Its majestic 20ft tongue-and-groove white pine ceilings and open floor-plan sleeps seven comfortably and offers kitchen facilities, it has a private tower library and magnificent slate walk-in shower.

Breakfast is designed to accommodate you, the guest. Offering a variety of choices, tailored to meet your plans for the day.

For early birds and Ferry goers, a fresh pot of coffee is brewing. Fresh Breads and Homemade Jams, Yogurts, fresh fruit salads, juices, cereals and a Brunch Pack for the ride. 9 am enjoy our buffet extravaganza - hot gourmet egg variations, quiches, waffles, crepes, local and seasonal favorites.

In the afternoon snack on oatmeal cookies, coffee, tea and our secret recipe Lemon Peppermint Iced Tea are available to hold you over until your evening dinner plans. We can help with a list of local menus, available in our catalog.

A pleasant walk through our town to the #1 beach in Michigan, Stearns Park and its white sandy shores of Lake Michigan beckon you to admire one of the most beautiful sunsets framed by dunes and lighthouses. On your walk back home stop in at our local favorite House of Flavors for a double scooper down our gas lanterned avenue.  

By the way, stop in at our newest small town sensation  Redolencia Coffeehouse  for a fabulous cup of fresh roasted Ethiopian French Press coffee or latté and much more.  Enjoy our Norwegian specialty baked goods anytime. For a memorable evening stop in weekends with live music. Open Late Daily! 

The Inn at Ludington offers seven beautifully decorated guest rooms. Each room has its own special cultural character and momentos. The Great Lakes Victorian- This master bedroom hosts a magnificent Plantation Style California King bed and a relaxing Jetted-Tub. Sitting areas to read in the bowed-glass window turret sete or in front of the warm slate fireplace.

The Scandinavian Room - This room is on our first floor, hosting a most comfortable Queen Bed. Its decor is light, with original authentic Scandinavian pieces. The expansive oak paneled bathroom brightly boasts a crystal chandelier and claw foot tub with in-tub shower.

The Grand Americana Room - This new majestic Queen ultra pillow-top complements the carved wooden desk within the Terra-cotta and avocado tones, provides the privacy of being the only room on the east-side of the house. A walk-in closet and roomy bathroom with claw-foot tub and shower add the finishing touches for a relaxing stay.

Dramatically different, The Mediterranean Room is patterned after an Edwardian gentleman\'s study, with black, white and beige striped wallpaper. Gold trimmed art from Cyprus and Greece adorn this Queen bedded intimate room. Its compact bathroom has a shower with a skirted sink is in the bedroom. A feeling of being nestled in the big Sugar Maple tree viewed out the windows is especially beautiful in the fall.

Little Europe our other fireplace room is most popular during the fall and winter months. Inspired by the sunny blue and yellow colors of Provance, It displays varied European keepsakes. It\'s furnished with a King bed and not only a leisure reading area in front of the fireplace, but what we call \"waltzing room\". The bathroom is great! A large cedar lined shower and ceramic \"piggy\" sink add to its charm.

The Garden View Retreat  -  Not only a faboulus view over the quiet Victorian Gardens, the feeling continues when you step back from the windows. This room will accomodate extra family members in its daybed/trundle, complemeting its queen bed. While the extra pedestal sink outside of the quaint bathroom/shower assists in bedtime preparations.

The Lakeside Loft -  Our fabulous newly renovated 900 square foot attic apartment works wonderfully for families or Ladies weekends. Its majestic 20 foot tongue-and-groove white pine ceilings and open floor-plan sleeps seven comfortably one queen two doubles and two twins. Kitchenette offers fridge, electric teapot and coffeemaker. It has a private turret room and magnificent slate designed benched sunflower rain shower.
