After the Puys of the Fourche, Puychautu, Puyjoli, Puysec, and Puy of Versac... you will arrive at Puytirel (the name bears witness to the presence of the English in the XIV century and could be a rendering of "Puy Tyrell"). This ancient vineyard property, famed for its brandy before the 1893 phylloxera disaster, converted to polyculture at an early stage and has now become dedicated to hosting those happy few that value tranquillity and quality of life. Located at a safe distance from the hustle and bustle of the outside world, far from the busy highways, this oasis of greenery shelters at its center a peaceful XIX century country house whose East side is reached after following a driveway lined with handsome cedars. The sequestered garden, park and orchard, offer all at the same time ample opportunities for resting, and enjoying the rural scenery. This family property fraught with venerable memories, will suit perfectly all those that wish to dream their time away or engage in more energetic activities, such as backpacking, and sports.
