Explore the gardens, nap in the hammock, lie in the sand by our natural pond/pool, or go and experience our endless historic sights and rich history around Nevada County\'s Gold Country. Tour the Victorian Era downtown areas of Nevada City and Grass Valley, or visit the State Historic Parks at Empire Mine and Malakoff Diggins. Visit our numerous lakes and rivers, great for canoeing, hiking and kayaking. The South Yuba river canyon is home to a State Park and a State Recreation Area, both of which feature scenic overlooks, plenty of trails, and wonderful swimming holes. The Charming Cottage is fully furnished and beautifully decorated in a woodsy style. It is surrounded by beautiful lawns and gardens, and offers a full kitchen with stove, refrigerator and coffee maker. The comfortable sitting room has cable TV and a wood stove. This cabin has lots of room for outdoor relaxing with its spacious decks, covered front porch, and screened in porch. The upstairs bedroom features a king-size bed. The spacious upstairs deck is great for outdoor sleeping in the summer months.
