Big Rock Cabins are uniquely crafted getaways in the Appalachian foothills of Southern Ohio. Secluded far from the cares of everyday life, our cabins feature exposed timber framing and natural wood throughout. Relax in a soothing hot tub on the elevated deck with a forested ravine view. Huge picture windows bring the scenic surroundings inside, while a beautiful Norwegian gas fireplace keeps you cozy. Each cabin is decorated with many interesting antiques and old-time photographs. Modern fixtures are cleverly designed to appear rustic. The quarter-turn staircase leads to an open loft with its pillow-top queen-sized bed. A ceiling fan hangs in the vaulted living room from an antique hoist.
These charming cabins are nestled beside legendary Big Rock, a 200 foot tall historic landmark near Beaver, Ohio.Your privacy is assured since cabin guests have exclusive use of the Big Rock property and trail system. You will find yourself on 60 wooded acres of natural beauty including awesome rock formations and abundant wildlife. Unlike most lodging in the nearby Hocking Hills Region, there is no need to drive off-site to a State Park. Well-marked hiking trails lead to Old Raridan's Lair and to the breathtaking views atop Big Rock, Turkey Rock, and Prophet Peak.
Cancellations: Reservations that are cancelled more than two weeks prior to reserved date, will receive an 85% refund. Cancellations less than two weeks, but more than three days prior to the reserved date, will receive a 50% refund. There are no refunds for a cancellation less than 72 hours prior to the reservation check-in time.
Damages: Normal wear and tear is of course expected. If you notice any problems or damage upon arrival, please let us know right away. We have never had, or expect to ever have, an occasion to charge any guest for damages or excessive cleaning. However, we must reserve the right to charge your credit card for these purposes.
Full payment with a credit or debit card is required to secure a reservation. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. 7% will be added to the stated rates. Reservations are processed in the order that they are received. Please make your reservations online if possible.
