Far from the madding crowd - that is how it feels here at le Moulin Blanc.
Although we are conveniently situated for both Gourdon and Cahors, the feeling is of complete peace and tranquility. Le Moulin Blanc offers quality well equipped Gite accommodation for up to four people in what was the miller's cottage when a working mill.
The area is ideal for nature lovers - deer and wild boar can be seen, as well as foxes and other wildlife. Last year one guest identified over 20 species of butterflies in the garden alone, which is itself set in more than a hectare of hillside woodland.
The vacation rental gite offers quiet, relaxed accommodation on it's own land (so no neighbours to encroach on your privacy!), where you can enjoy the surroundings without disturbance, whether it be inside in comfort or on the private patio (with a glass of local wine, perhaps), or in the garden just soaking up the sun on one of our sun beds.
We have a supply of maps and guides to help you to get the most out of your holiday, and we are just across the road (about 50m) for advice and help.
The gite has central heating and is available all year, for off-season weekend and midweek breaks as well. Longer winter lets can be arranged.
With over 120 square metres on each floor, there is no shortage of space.
The comfortable bedrooms, a large double and a twin, both with ample cupboards, are downstairs (cooler on those hot summer nights!) with a bathroom (shower, WC and washbasin).
Upstairs there is a second bathroom similar to the first, but with washing machine as well. The open plan living area is upstairs and consists of a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge-freezer, full size cooker, microwave and dishwasher. There is a spacious lounge with comfortable sofa and armchairs, local TV and a CD player, and a dining area.
The living area leads onto the large patio via several glass doors to provide relaxed indoor-outdoor living - ideal for that evening aperitif! And with the BBQ and outdoor furniture you can relax all evening enjoying the peace and tranquility of the countryside.
The patio leads up to a sheltered garden set in a backdrop of oak woods, with sun beds for those lazy afternoons!

You can make a provisional booking by email or by telephone. This can be held for 10 days until receipt of the booking confirmation, for which you will need to fill in the booking form and send it to us with the 25% deposit.
If you have access to internet banking and would prefer to pay by this method, please fill in the form and email (or post) it to us and request our internet banking details so that we can email them to you.
When we receive the deposit and form, we will confirm your booking in writing by email.
