Ardfield is a peaceful residence with breathtaking views of Owenabue Valley where we breed and train top class showjumping and event horses. Guests may visit the stables and stroll around the paddocks. Local shops and services are available closeby and it's only a leisurely amble to the local traditional pubs in the evening! We are conveniently located 300 metres off R613, near Ballinhassig village, 1km off N71 and 10 minutes to Cork airport. Ringaskiddy Ferry Port is 15km away and we are 10km from Kinsale and Cork City. Early breakfasts are available. At Ardfield, we breed sport horses, many of which are top class. One of our home bred eventers, Ardfield Magic Star, was recently sold to Zara Phillips who is a grand-daughter of the Queen of England. She is also the current European and World Champion Eventing Gold Medal Winner. Our guests are welcome to wander up to the paddocks and to see the horses and if you are lucky you might arrive in time to see a new foal! During the spring, summer and autumn, some of our horses are in competition in Cross-country or 3-Day Events, in Cork and throughout the country.
