Description

With a history dating back to the Domesday Book and a location which offers calm and seclusion like few others, Colveston Manor sits in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, but within easy reach of tourist attractions and commercial centres. We offer hospitality in the finest tradition with comfortable, homely accommodation and locally sourced food. Located in the centre of a working mixed arable and livestock farm, you can roam through hundreds of acres of countryside. With luck, you will make friends with some of our wide selection of animal and birdlife. We look forward to the pleasure of your company in the near future! There are four spacious guest rooms, providing accommodation for up to 7 people. The largest bedroom is beautifully furnished with an antique double bed and delightful en-suite bathroom and w.c. A second double room is available with washbasin and the use of a bathroom and w.c. Similarly, the twin room has its own basin and shared toilet and bathroom. A single bedroom, located on the ground floor, is also available.

All rooms are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities. Children aged 12 and over are welcome. The antique furnished lounge and dining room (pictured right) are both for the sole use of our guests. Log fires warm these rooms in winter, while in summer one can step out and enjoy the adjoining garden, where seats and sun parasols are provided. Our guests often enjoy barbecues on the lawn in summer, as well as the occasional breakfast al fresco. Outstanding food will make your stay at Colveston Manor a time to savour. All dishes are home cooked on the Aga and fresh produce from our own kitchengarden is used as the seasons provide. We shall be pleased to cater for your special requirements on request. Colveston Manor is a working farm and our guests are welcome to explore and observe day to day life on the farm. Children aged 12 and over are welcome.
