Phillip and Rayma invite you to enjoy warm hospitality, personal service and peace and quiet at Cobden Garden Homestay, a character, colonial villa situated high on Bluff Hill, Napier in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. Traditionally decorated but with modern facilities to provide you with an indulgent and pampered stay.
Napier City, famous for its: Art Deco Architecture, Marine Parade, National Aquarium, fine shopping, cafes and restaurants is just a 12-minute walk or a 3-minute drive from our bed and breakfast.

Drive for 20 minutes into the heart of Hawke's Bay to meet a tour guide to visit the largest onshore gannet colony, or in a few minutes you are surrounded by: vineyards with wineries with tasting rooms and fine restaurants to visit, orchards with their food stalls or maybe golfing at one of the many world class courses in Hawke's Bay. Or enjoy the sunshine and landscape from your bicycle as you traverse one of the newly completed trails.
Cobden Garden Homestay is a perfect retreat - Enjoy one of three spacious, thoughtfully furnished bedrooms with king size or twin single beds and modern ensuite bathrooms After a busy day exploring Napier and Hawke's Bay relax in the quiet sunroom with extensive views or maybe you would prefer, the shady veranda, the loungers under the sprawling Titoki Tree in the garden, or the elegant lounge to sit and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, a magazine or catch up with emails using the complimentary wifi access.
Established trees and shrubs brings many birds to our garden.  Their song can be heard from dawn to dusk.

The Ahuriri Room: The Ahuriri Room is located on the upstairs floor of Cobden Garden Homestay and has views across to Napier's Westshore and Ahuriri Lagoon and distant views to the Ruahine and Kaweka ranges. You can relax in comfortable lounge furniture and enjoy the afternoon sun,  a cup of tea or coffee whilst reading, viewing television or simply enjoying the view. The guests' sunroom is adjacent and this room has extensive views with a more northerly aspect. The Ahuriri Room has a luxurious ensuite with spa bath, separate shower and twin wash basins for your comfort.

The Garden Room: The Garden Room is on the ground floor of Cobden Garden Homestay and has an outlook on to part of the extensive garden around the house. It has a king bed and comfortable lounge furniture, tea and coffee making facilities. The attached ensuite bathroom has a large free standing bath with a shower over and wash basin.

The Titoki Room: Named after the sprawling Titoki tree viewed from the window, this room is very sunny with a double and single bed available. It is upstairs and overlooks the main garden and has views to the Kaweka Ranges. The guests' sunroom is adjacent and this room has extensive views with a more northerly aspect.
