The lodge is full of character and has a wonderful atmosphere. The stunning private estate hosts a wide range of quality sporting activities. The spacious boarding kennels on the estate enable guests to bring their own dogs.The setting is tranquil and idyllic and yet the M6 and A6 are just a few miles away. Just follow the brown tourist signs marked "Bracken Bank Lodge" with the symbol of a country house from the A6. There is unlimited off street parking at the Lodge. Penrith railway station has a direct 3 hour service to London. The station at Lazonby is on the Carlisle to Settle line, one of the world's most scenic railways. There are airports at both Carlisle and Newcastle.
