Heavenly Suite- 
Our “Heavenly Suite” sits on top of Gingerbread Hill, with a spectacular 360 degree view of rain forest, mountains, the big, blue sea below, and the brilliant stars above…THE best view on the island! It is, according to our guests, very aptly named and a truly magical haven. (We thought of calling it the Sweet Suite or the Heavenly Haven, and ended up with a marriage of the two. King size bed with magical view of sea & sky. Fully equipped kitchen and lovely living room that opens onto the first verandah for dining. Climb the spiral stairway up to a second star gazing gallery! Both verandahs completely private. A perfectly complete, totally unique apartment for the price of a hotel room! Extremely popular for honeymoons, anniversaries, and also HAM radio operators…(advice to HAM husbands: best not to mix the two!), TV/Wi-Fi. Housekeeping every 4-6 days.  
Note- $165 per night plus 7% gov. tax. (Depending on time of year, rates may be negotiated for stays of longer than 2 weeks.)
 
Two Bedroom Villa-
The “Two Bedroom Villa” is a lovely Caribbean home, with wrap-around veranda, laced with architectural gingerbread, a porch swing, spiral staircase down to parking and laundry areas, and a view that many think is the (second to Heavenly Suite) best on the island! It has a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable living room that opens onto the verandah for dining; Two bedrooms, each with en suite bathroom: master bedroom has a king size bed and French doors out to verandah. Second bedroom has two single beds and a desk. Free use of gazebo with hammock on hilltop. TV/WiFi. A complete home for the price of a hotel room! Housekeeping every 4-6 days. Swimming pool on property!.
Note- $165 per night to accommodate 1-4 people. Plus 7% government tax. Depending on time of year and number of occupants,, rates may be  negotiable for stays of longer than 2 weeks.) 
 
Mango Cottage-
The “Mango Cottage” is off by itself,  down the hill a bit, and has a sweet, cozy, woodsy feel. It has a bit of a sea view, sometimes, depending on season and trees on neighbor’s property. It is truly a mini-cottage (think Europe not Canada…) that has one small bedroom with two single beds which you may push together (sort of – the mattresses fit inside, not on top of the wooden frames,…If you do move them, kindly put them back the way you found them before you leave.) It has a small kitchen (no oven, but 2 nice, stove burners on counter top, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and a small fridge,) bathroom, one small verandah with table and 2 chairs and one patio under the mango tree with table and 2  curved benches. Housekeeping once weekly, at this reduced rate. Yes WiFi /No TV.  Free use of gazebo on hilltop with a huge view, breeze and hammock.  The Cottage happens to be the closest lodging of all to the swimming pool!.

Sweet & Simple-
Sweet & Simple is a comfortable, bright, one-room efficiency unit next to our digital media studio. It has its own entrance, 2 single beds, and private bathroom with hot shower. Fridge, coffee maker, microwave, TV, WiFi, desk, two large cupboards/closets. Counter-top stove in laundry area outside, under roof, around the corner. Housekeeping once weekly. Free use of gazebo on hilltop with hammock, breeze, and amazing view! Not fancy, but sterling: clean and comfy and the best deal on the island. Plus…we have added a Swimming Pool to the property!.
Note-*Special Discounted Rate:  $us60 per night. $us50 per night if staying longer than 2 weeks, plus 7% Gov tax.*

Mango Cottage - a perfect hideaway


We have been fortunate to gaze at the sun setting over Monserrat from Antigua and hoped one day we might visit. And we did! We stayed at Mango Cottage for a short break hop from Antigua. Clover was so helpful with booking and details such as takeaway food and tours. David picked us up and dropped us off at the airport as well as showing us the Hilltop Cafe - a must for visiting - and talking of his families experience on Monserrat. Speaking of family, we did the island and exclusion zone tour with their son - Sunny - what an exceptional day and we highly recommend his tour. What a lovely family - we are so lucky to have met you - thank you!

A beautiful Caribbean home


We have just spent 11 nights staying on Gingerbread Hill in the two bedroom villa with our 16 year old son. It was our first time in Montserrat and it was amazing. Clover was very helpful making sure that we were met at the airport and taken to collect supplies , she arranged car hire and made sure we had everything we needed including samples of local fruit.
