The Sea Front Inn is proudly owned by Mr. Clive Genus, a Belizean native with deep roots in the Toledo District. Born and raised in the village of Crique Arena, Mr. Genus developed a strong work ethic from a young age while working in his father’s sawmill. He later met his wife, Grace Genus, and together they were blessed with eight children.
 
In 1970, Mr. Genus relocated to Punta Gorda, where he opened a successful mechanic shop and became an active part of the community. His journey eventually took him to the United States, where he continued his career as a businessman. Today, as the proud owner of The Sea Front Inn and Clive’s Restaurant, Mr. Genus has returned to his homeland with a mission to revitalize the community and give back to the people of Belize.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. From the moment I checked in until I left they made sure my stay was comfortable and that I had all I needed. I cannot say enough about their customer service and attention to detail for my comfortable stay.

Probably the best place to stay, for the value, in Punta Gorda.


Great location. Even though the restaurant is closed, you can still use the restaurant balcony, and it's wonderful to sit out on the balcony at night. Very comfortable beds. The owner let us park our motorcycles in a way that hid them from easy view from the street. ANd the staff was SO friendly.

Overall Great stay!


Super friendly staff especially the receptionist was super helpful kind and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for her to help us with regarding information for the local town and local bus route.

We enjoyed our stay there and It was a good value for our money.


Location on the waterfront was good. We opened our windows and had sea breezes all night. Cost was good. There is a large market just north of the property where we could buy nearly anything we needed.
