The Orchid Studio, a modern, fully contained studio apartment with its own entrance and amenities, is located on the second floor of the Villa and is overlooking the pool.
 
The space
Foshay Tower is a compound consisting of two homes divided into guest apartments on the beautiful Caribbean island of Caye Caulker. Two one-bedroom, four studios and one efficiency at Foshay Tower are listed separately on Airbnb and come with king or queen beds, air-conditioning, wifi, tv, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, toaster, iron, hair dryer, secure safe, safe drinking water, hot water and all kitchen amenities such as dishes and flatware.
 
The island of Caye Caulker is located off the coast of Belize and close to the world's second largest living barrier reef. From Caye Caulker it is a 50 minute water taxi ride (or ten minute hop-plane ride) to the mainland of Belize where guests can enjoy zip-lining, cave tubing, exploring Mayan ruins, eco-touring, deep sea fishing, snorkeling, diving, horse back riding, visiting the zoo or a host of other activities.
 
The Palapa is the top of the Tower with a wet bar, restroom, chaise lounges, seating, a round table and 360 degree views of the island and Caribbean. All guests at Foshay Tower have access to the pool and the Palapa.

I grew up on Caye Caulker and am a descendant of the Garifuna people who began arriving in then British Honduras on November 19th,1802. This day is now a national holiday in Belize celebrated with drums, dancing and pageantry. I enjoy the service industry and have worked for many years as property manager, bartender and general assistant. I have had the pleasure of meeting people from all over the world. At the same time my passion is the game of darts and I enjoy competing with people from other nations around the Caribbean. I'm here to make your stay a "Game Shot".

Great location!


This is my second time staying in 4 months. The dates I wanted weren’t available, initially. Cecilia was so kind to reach out and let me know she had a last minute cancellation. Her place was as good as the last time. Very convenient and great, quiet location. This weekend was Lobsterfest and the island was packed. Cecilia showed me around the island and took me under her wing. This is the place to be if you want that kind, friendly hospitality. I’ll be back, again

A very lovely place, just far enough from the hub of activity to be quiet and get away, but not far enough you cant walk or bike easily. Cecilia is a lovely kind lady, easy and responsive to message and chat. Flexible and adaptable to change with a few blibs in our stay.

Thank you to Cecilia and her daughter Starlie! I wasn’t sure if I would make my flight. She was very responsive with my last minute booking. Cecilia and Starlie provided transportation to and from the CC airport. My room was just as listed. The pool was perfect to wind down. Staying at her place was like staying with a loving family member?? Her place is walkable, although bikes were available to rent. Take advantage of the roof top views and enjoy the hammock. As a solo traveler I felt safe at Seremei and on the island. I have absolutely no complaints and wouldn’t change a thing! As I told Cecilia on my departure, I’ll be back and will be booking her spot again.

Had a wonderful stay at Cecilia's for one night. I wish it had been longer! Great location, beautiful room, and very nice staff. Highly recommend this rental.
