Just got home from our second visit to Shanna’s Cove with Gregor and Maria. What a magical place. The bungalows are immaculate, the food is unbelievable (Chef Leticia is incredible) and the beach is stunning. Greg and Maria made us feel again like houseguests and not like we were staying at a resort. This is a special place. I almost hate leaving a good review because I don’t want anyone to know the secret. That way we can always have our special place. If you want to completely forget your worries and indulge in happiness, this is your answer.

Breathtaking, Amazing, Friendly!


Those are just 3 of words that come to mind! My (now) husband and I have been here twice. About a year and a half apart! The first time was just is, and we got engaged on one of the beaches just off the Mon-O-War Trail! Maria and Gregor set up the cutest table that evening for supper and we all celebrated! Just this last December we decided to official MARRY on the beach. We stayed for 9 days, with our twin boys and parents. Let me tell you, it was the BEST decision we ever made! Maria and Gregor made everything SO special. And their cook was so friendly, accommodating, and fun to be around! Everyone there makes you feel like family. It’s truly an experience like no other! Highly recommend for a getaway to forget life for a while! You’ll never want to leave! (Plus everyone we’ve come across on the Island while exploring is just so nice! We love going and talking to as many people as possible. Truly an Island to remember!)

Worth the drive - delicious foods , excellent hospitality, beautiful beach!


Wow, wow, wow. We visited today with friends for a delicious pizza and Niçoise salad lunch with bubbles overlooking the most stunning blue seas in Shanna’s Cove. Thank you to Gregor and Maria who made us feel so welcome - like old friends - and looked after us superbly. A swim in Shanna’s Cove finished off our perfect day.

We had a wonderful family vacation at Shanna’s Cove over Christmas, on our second visit to Cat Island. This is truly a place to restore body and soul - a hidden gem with incredible beaches, extraordinary food, amazing people.
