Everything was just perfect

We were very much looking forwards to a relaxing family at Bruce’s place, and we got just that! Everything was just perfect. We especially loved the location of the home, which is right on a beach that’s practically private. The home is way better than the photos - clean, airy, lots of natural light, good WiFi, and good air conditioning in the bedrooms. Although the living area does not have air conditioning, you won’t need it at all. There is plenty of fresh air and there was always a breeze blowing. A special mention for the chef and the caretaker - the food was beyond delicious. Any they took care of a required special diet for a family member. Bruce’s aunt Sandra dropped in during our trip and really made us feel at home. She was also full of interesting anecdotes and great tips for local sight seeing. Don’t miss a river cruise with Captain Dennis and a drink at the Pelican bar! There is a small convenience store close by, but otherwise, pick up some essentials on the way there.

It was awesome!

Our group of seven enjoyed a wonderful Calabash weekend at Coquina. After a long drive from Kingston, the warm welcome by smiling staff with cold cloths to cool our hot faces was much appreciated. Mornings at Coquina were magical, with stunning views of the bay and the presence of thousands of fluttering yellow butterflies as we made our way to the readily accessible beach for a swim or walk. It was awesome! Before heading out each day Marsha and Tricia provided us with wonderful breakfasts and we always returned to clean, welcoming accommodation. We particularly loved the openness of the living area leading to veranda and grounds. Eating breakfast under the tree was also special. Pity it rained on other mornings. Our one suggestion would be that the bedroom that is accessed from outside also have access to the kitchen at night. We will certainly return to this villa.
