Great value for a beach vacation


The staff were SO friendly and helped to make my stay amazing! The room I had was very comfortable and stayed cool, and I didn't hear others around me. The arranged transfers from the airport to the hotel were really nice, given the distance (1 hr). it was good to not have to worry about that. The size of the resort was nice for me and it was a great jumping off point for hiring a guide to take me to see local wildlife.

An okay stay, worth for nanny services with the kids. Other than that not worth it.


When booked it says there's a bathtub, there's a kitchen in our two bedroom. It literally says in the room details:" In the well equipped kitchen..." It says it has a mini bar.. no it doesn't. So there was a lot of listed amenities that they actually don't have/provide. Very old and outdated furniture and everything around. Needs a total remodel

Good for relaxing.


Its very quiet and peaceful at night and the nanny’s are great with interacting with kids. The food is amazing and there are multiple facilities that are available to occupy your time, the view from the room balconies and beach are also great. The rooms are very comfortable and good for relaxing.

The staff was amazing, especially our nanny Kerise. Our son was sick when we arrived and she took excellent care of him and allowed us to have a great vacation! The food was also amazing and all staff members were very nice. I'd definitely recommend FDR to families looking for an affordable laid-back resort!
