Description

Bluegill Bungalow is a rustic A-frame cabin, nestled along the banks of Lake Kiwanie. Situated on a former rustic resort that has retained all of its charm and beauty. Enjoy close proximity to all of the area amenities. Relax and take in the sights and sounds of nature on the deck; so close to the lake that you can cast your fishing line over the railing!.
 
The space
Inside you will find a fun blend of decor referencing the history of our cabin during its days as a star attraction of the Spring River Beach Club along with cool crafts from our local artisans. The living room view of Lake Kiwanie is stunning with the shoreline less than 10 feet away! This cabin is around 940 square feet. Downstairs is a full kitchen, living room, dining nook, and full bathroom. The futon on the first floor folds out into a queen sized bed. Upstairs is a sleeping loft with a queen sized bed and a twin sized day bed for a max sleeping capacity of 5. Enjoy the convenience of wifi and a smart TV for all your streaming needs.
 
Guest access
Access via lockbox containing keys. Self check in any time after 3PM on day of arrival.
 
Other things to note
Rental of Bluegill Bungalow includes use of our two guest kayaks to explore Lake Kiwanie up close and personal!.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 1 day prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 1 day prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

Weekend getaway cabin experience


This property is well maintained and has all the conveniences you need for a relaxing getaway. It’s private, would not say secluded. Great communication from our host and no issues to note. As a bonus we woke up to a beautiful snow scene our first morning. Thank you for a relaxing cabin experience in the cute town of Hardy!

Peaceful, relaxing stay


If you're looking for a quiet getaway, this is the place. My husband and I spent the weekend here and couldn't be more pleased with how our stay went. We just relaxed all weekend, occasionally fishing from either the dock or the kayaks provided by our hosts. The accommodations were very comfortable and exactly as described and the cabin was clean and ready for us to move in for the weekend upon arrival. Our hosts were also kind enough to send us plenty of information regarding how to get to the cabin and even more info about local areas we could visit while we were in town. We miss it already and will definitely book again.

Nice little stay


In my wife's words, the most relaxing trip she's ever had. Everything is depicted properly and honestly doesn't do it justice as far as just being able to sit on the couch and watch the lake. My wife enjoyed kayaking around the lake and catching bass. Bluegill, red ear, perch are very common just off the dock. Trout fishing isn't too far away with Spring river. I recommend dam 1 at Mammoth or dam 3 for a more secluded spot. The rental was clean and the main bed was very comfortable. Out of our little get away trips, this one has been the best.

Renew...Rewind...RELAX


For us...we had never NOT had family for Thanksgiving...this year was so different and we decided to "run away"!!! (kids are grown) Thanks Justus for being a great host! Your cabin left us relaxed and renewed. The area hospitality, food, and "junkin" added to our stay.

Awesome property!!!


I love this little cabin. I didn’t fish but I saw bass and bream swimming around and a lot of turtles. I also had a daily visit from a squirrel eating acorns off the deck. I also had one visit from a huge groundhog. I took pictures through the patio door. I had never seen a groundhog in person. It was awesome! The cabin itself was furnished and stick very nicely and bed was comfortable. I highly recommend!!!
