Description

800 sq ft, 4 rooms with 5 beds, 2 baths. Each room sleeps 4 people with a connecting door between them. Each unit has a kitchenette, private bedroom, living room, direct tv and wifi. Centrally located in the Adirondack State park, open all year. Just and 8 minute walk from Blue Mt Lake, BM Rest is not a lakefront property but all water sport and the Adirondack Museum is a stone's throw away.
 
The space
Our accommodations are centrally located in the Adirondack Mountains in Blue Mt Lake NY, USA. Open year round. Every room has a fully equipped kitchen, has two beds or more, Direct TV, WiFi, outdoor fire pit, charcoal grill and some accommodations have fireplaces as well.
 
Guest access
30 lakes within 45 minutes of our property in the gorgeous Adirondack Mountains. This is the largest state park in the US, over 6 million acres of pristine "forever wild" wilderness. In Spring: hiking, fishing and white water rafting. In Summer: canoe and kayak rentals, a boat livery for motor water craft, The Adirondack Museum, Wild Center, Water Parks, horseback riding & seaplane rides are just minutes away. In fall, awesome fall foliage, 4 community events, the BM Lake Art Museum. In Winter, snowmobiling, x-country skiing, snow shoeing trials right across the street. 3 ski areas within 35 minutes of the room and ice fishing on 7 lakes within 15 minutes.
 
Other things to note
We are pet friendly. However there are "pooch fees" as follows: 1 dog- $15 per night for 2 nights or less, $10 per night 3 nights or more. 7 nights $60. 2 dogs- 1/2 the pooch fee rates for 2nd dog.
 
Listed rates are prime season rates, off season rates are discounted 10-25%.

And I have been hosting here in Blue Mt Lake with my wife Boka for 16 years now. I am an expert in the area and I can provide information about local vendors and other businesses that I network with that can make your vacation memorable and save you money. Feel free to ask any question about the beautiful Adirondack State Park which our facility is located in and/or about our lodging. It would be my pleasure to assist. I write poetry as a hobby and play the Conga Drums for a little fun. You may find that Blue Mt Lake is not only a great place to vacation, it can also be a spiritual experience. It has been for me. Here is my pet fee policy:
$15 per night first two nights. $10 per night thereafter, max of $50 per week. 2nd dog in room half the first. Max pets per room 2. 
 
Housekeeping fees are a flat rate regardless of the length of stay.
 
I have a 2 night minimum, except on holiday weeks and in July & August. I have a 3 night minimum on the weekends. I don't know if your platform can be that specific but if you can please note.

Great Stay!


We enjoyed our vacation at Blue Mountain Rest, skiing at Gore Mountain about a 40-min drive away. We rented both units 1-2 for a family of 4, which we think was a good idea for us, as one unit would have been a bit cramped. We found the cabin in good order and generally as described, although we struggled to connect to the WiFi (and cell coverage can also be spotty in the area). One thing we missed, being on a skiing trip, was a good way to dry our wet gear after the day's skiing.

Amazing Location


Overall enjoyed our stay with Lenny and Boka - they were highly communicative, working with us to make sure we could be accommodated during a busy season, checking in during our stay. Location is close enough for a ski trip at Gore, across the street is a great diner open over the weekends.
