The property consists of 10 fully self-contained suites which are broken down into three triple bedroom suites, three double bedroom suites, and four single bedroom suites. All suites are fully self-contained with all kitchen, dining, and living amenities. All rooms come with private individual baths which means that every triple bedroom suite contains three baths and every double, two baths.

Our History
In the mid 90’s Bayport Residence Inn was formerly known as the Wesleyan Apartel. The Bayport group acquired the building in 2015 and focused on rebranding it as one of the preferred accommodations on the island for families, friends and business travellers. It promises to provide exclusive, elegant and affordable accommodation and to deliver friendly and personalized service to all guests.Bayport is a fully featured hotel, located just 7 minutes from the capital city of Roseau and invites all our guests to unwind and enjoy a home away from home atmosphere.

Single Bedroom Suite-
Our Single Bedroom Suites are finely decored, creating a warm, Caribbean feel. Each single bedroom suite has its own private bathroom and kitchenette and all the other amenities you will need during your stay. We are located only 7 minutes from the Capital city and offer 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units. All rooms are self sufficient and contain modern amenities such as WIFI, Cable and kitchen appliances.

Wonderful property, great location and excellent service


I spent three nights here in quarantine but could easily have spent my whole vacation at this property. I stayed in the Executive Suite (room 404). This was a spacious apartment with kitchen/dining room plus King bedroom. There were two balconies and a large bathroom with shower and two sinks. The kitchen had everything needed to cook a meal plus a full size fridge / freezer and 6 seater dining table. I spent most of my time lounging in the balcony sipping my pink gin. They had tons of worldwide channels on the large flat screen TV inc BBC1, BBC2, ITV, C4, etc. The apartment was clean with excellent views of Canefield airport and the Caribbean sea beyond. The hotel is in a quiet residential area, and ideally located for exploring Dominica. The capital Roseau is a short drive away. The service from staff was excellent. Thank you to Vernelle and the team. The centre for the PCR test (which you have to take on day 2) is a short drive away in the Botanical Garden. The hotel reception will organise the taxi (100 ECD) for you. I paid for the test online beforehand and printed off the receipt (the PCR people will ask for the printout). They no longer come to the hotel to administer the test (I think a previous review said this.) The hotel can organise for meals to be delivered to you (at your cost), menu in reception. My only quibble is that the shower was not a full spray so I used the tap but the water was hot and constant so I was still a happy bunny. I would definitely return to this hotel on my next visit to Dominica and recommend to it anybody coming to the island for business or pleasure.

It was a pleasure to quarantine at Bayport Residence Inn. Customer service was excellent from the beginning to the end of my stay. Staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. The suite was very spacious, clean and comfortable and we felt like we were home. I was also struck by how quiet the area was although located around a residential area. We had everything we could possibly need to prepare my own meals. I won’t hesitated to recommend Bayport Residence Inn or to make reservations again if necessary.

7 Day Quarantine


My stay at Bayport Residence Inn in Dominica was wonderful under the 7 day quarantine protocol. They provided a bus to pick me at the airport and bring to the hotel. PCR test is taken at the hotel so you don’t have to go roseau and is paid for separately. Every day they knock on you door to check your body temperature. As soon as you walk in the your room door it’s very clean and spacious. The rooms come fully furnish just to name a few such as microwave, stove, fridge, wifi and etc. Each room has its know view of cane field airport, the bay front, as well as the village of cane field. The master bedroom and living room have its own balcony. The staff was very friendly and polite in accommodating you whenever your family/friends or you just order out they bring the food/drinks to your room door while your in hotel room quarantining. Eventually you are free to retrieve your stuff from your family/friends yourself.
