'Ocean's Edge' is the only unit truly right on the ocean's edge with a striking and beautiful private beachfront garden. The private garden has been magnificently landscaped to create a lush Caribbean Eden with a wide variety of mature tropical fauna. The addition of a private tiled deck area provides further seclusion and a quiet shady area perfect for taking in breath taking sunsets and the most picturesque bay on the West Coast of Barbados.
 
Merlin Bay itself has a lovely feel of separation from the outside world while still being within close proximity to the many nearby luxuries and amenities such as world-class restaurants like Lone Star, shops at Lime Grove Lifestyle Center, and bars and nightlight within the Holetown area.
 
You approach Oceans Edge through communal gardens and enter on the middle floor. Your eyes are automatically drawn to the azure ocean immediately in front of the property the waves gently lapping the beach at the end of the garden. Natural Stone floors and bathrooms; Granite worktops and vanity units and Hansgrohe taps are a few of the feature's guests can expect during their holiday at Oceans Edge. The best thing of all is the staff that look after you during your stay. 
 
On the main level is the open plan kitchen, dining and living area, which opens to a patio with plunge pool overlooking the beautiful gardens and the picture-perfect beach. The top level consists of two en-suite bedrooms; the master suite which leads out to a terrace and provides access to a rooftop terrace perfect for sunbathing. On the ground floor is the third en-suite bedroom and waterfall plunge pool. The housekeeper's room and laundry facilities are also located on this level.  All bedrooms offer the option to have the beds made as 2 singles or joined as a large king.
 
Guests at Ocean's Edge also enjoy the use of the large lagoon style community pool set in the centre of Merlin Bay, with plenty of sun beds. The property also benefits from round the clock management, security and parking.  Access to the beach is via a lovely winding path that leads through the trees to the beach below.
 
 Ocean' Edge really is a little slice of Paradise and the perfect spot for your next holiday!

Baby equipment rentals are NOT included in the rental price unless stated otherwise

Sandy Lane Property Owners Beach is accessible only to guests staying on the Sandy Lane Estate
Facilities at the Sandy Lane Hotel are Not available to Villa Guests
Wash off sunscreen before using indoor furniture and place a towel down when using outdoor furniture.

Additional Rate details

Please Note: Tipping is not included in the service charge and is at your discretion.A security deposit of $1,000 US is required.
Subject to 7.5% VAT.
Please note effective January 1st 2020, VAT will be 10%.
Bookings will be subject to a 3.75% Room Rate Levy. Capped at US $17.50 per bedroom, per night.
1.5% Service charge added to all bookings.

Perfect


My family and I just spent a wonderful 8 day week in your lovely home. In addition to my wife, we had our 2 adult children and one significant other. Oceans Edge was perfect. We swam and snorkeled right out front and ended every day with cards and drinks on the poop deck. During the day we enjoyed touring the island both by car and catamaran. A Brit who spends 5 weeks with his wife and daughter in one of the other villas told us you had just redone the poop deck and it\'s ideal at both ends of the day. As an early riser I\'d have my coffee and watch the day break there. Pam is fabulous and you are lucky to have her. We hope to return, perhaps as soon as next year. Living in New Hampshire, A January break is a must.

Wonderful Vacation!


We have had the most wonderful vacation retreat at Merlin Bay. Villa was beautiful and the food wonderful. Pam and Atanja have been fantastic. This is our 10th of more time here at this wonderful beautiful place. We will be back.

To the visitors yet to come, well....what to say? My family and I have had a splendid time! I would recommend Pamila\'s flying fish if you like spice but only for a bit. Carlisle Bay is a lovely place to visit, i saw 8 turtles when i went. It if is your first time here in Barbados the whistles at night are little frogs. I know shocking! Finally I encourage you to go to Huntes Gardens, Anthony Hunte is quite a character.
