Description

All you need are your clothes, toiletries and if you decide to eat in, your groceries. Amenities galore.

Immaculate, 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom ranch, with central air.  Fully equipped kitchen with newly installed dishwasher.

1.5 miles from Bristol Beach, with Menauhant and Falmouth Heights beaches almost as close.

Located on a quiet residential dead end street with an Ocean Bay aka Great Pond, saltwater, only 6 houses away.  Walk to the end of the street and enjoy the quiet solitude that Great Pond has to offer, or bring the 2 Kayaks that are provided with you and glide along the pond without a care in the world.  Of course you will be wearing the life vests that are provided as well.  Lovingly cared for and nicely appointed, the house was renovated in 2013.  Wood floors throughout with the exception of kitchen and bathroom.  In addition to the kitchen and bath renovation all new linens, towels, and beds were purchased.  There isn't anything that will leave you wanting.

There is a half bath in the master bedroom and an enclosed outside shower (hot and cold water) to take advantage of when the weather just begs you to stay outside.  Falmouth Heights beach is only a little over a mile away and you could literally walk to shopping, the movie theater, and bowling.  If you are feeling adventurous, if available, take one of the bicycles that are waiting for you in the shed, or take it upon yourself to rent a bicycle at one of the rental shops and either explore the neighborhood or try the 3.3 mile Shining Sea Bikeway that takes follows the original route of the New York, New haven and Hartford Railroad that used to run from Buzzards Bay through North and West Falmouth, around Woods Hole and into Falmouth Station.

You could also try honing your ping pong or shuffleboard skills on the tables in the basement.

This is truly an amazing location and surely not too disappoint.

Owner info

CONTACT OWNER

I was lucky enough to have parents that looked to the future and bought this home in 1972. I have been the owner since early 2013 and put my heart and soul into making this a home not only one that I could enjoy but also for those that chose to spend time here for their summer vacation. This is where, when I am lucky enough to retire, I will be spending my time.
Elizabeth Campbell purchased this House in 1972
Why Elizabeth Campbell chose East Falmouth
I have an emotional attachment and think that with the renovations and appointments I have made to the home as well as the location, makes it a very desirable property.
What makes this House unique
The home is so close to everything you could possibly imagine yet it is on a residential dead end street that lends itself to being somewhat of a private oasis. You have easy access to Route 28 and you are not so far on the Cape that the traffic becomes a nuisance.

Guest Reviews

Glad we stayed here.

My wife and I recently spent a week at the property and found it to be everything that was advertised and then some. The property was nicely decorated in \"Cape Cod\" style, extremely clean, and contained everything you want in a property. Having bikes and kayaks at the house saved us from bringing them from home. Every pot, pan, dishes and small appliance you could ask for was on site, and in great condition. One feature we love to have on the Cape is an outdoor shower, and the one at this house was fantastic with plenty of hot water. The property is located a short distance from Downtown Falmouth and nearby (and walking distance) to restaurants, shopping, pubs, and anything else you might want. We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning.

Family Fun!

We truly enjoyed our time at Elizabeth’s home! It is a comfortable, very clean, fully equipped and well loved Cape home in a great location. We enjoyed the numerous amenities including the grill, yard games, kayak, bikes and basement. Our young children loved the “little beach” at the end of the street.

Great stay

The house was great and had pretty much everything we needed for a great vacation! We loved the bicycles and kayaks and enjoyed the short walk to beautiful Great Pond plus the wonderful path nearby that goes along the pond. It was great for walking and riding. It was also very close to downtown Falmouth and the supermarket and a great movie theatre. Only complaints are that there was no available pantry cabinet in which to store our food so it ended up all over the counters and the bed was a little hard for my taste but otherwise a wonderful property.

Charm and Convenience

We were very pleased with this well supplied and attractive home close to Great Bay. The home is well taken care of and feels new in many respects (kitchen cabinets and appliances, very nice living room furniture and deck furniture). Many amenities are included and are appreciated ( linens, towels, some cosmetic items such as shampoos and lotions). The owner is very pleasant and responds quickly to questions and concerns. We had difficulty figuring out the cable TV and Elizabeth stayed on the phone with us step by step until it was resolved. (Hint: Use only the Xfinity remote for the living room TV, not the Coby one which is the brand of the TV). We appreciated the large notebook in the living room with instructions and recommendations for the area, even printed mapquest directions to various beaches. This is above and beyond the typical rental! It is indeed a short walk to the bay, which is great for walks at low tide to watch all the boat activity and also for swimming and sunning. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The daybed bedroom is somewhat small and my adult daughter did feel a bit cramped in the room. It is better suited to one or two young children, since it has a trundle bed. A mirror in the room would be a nice addition. Overall, a very special place and we would like to return.

Great house

House was wonderful. Very clean, everything worked. Location was very central. Nice grill on the deck, kayaks and bikes were a hit. We\'d recommend this to anyone
