Our spacious two bedroom garage loft unit has a deck with a gas grill and patio furniture. The living room and eat-in kitchen are open to each other and have a cathedral ceiling. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other has two twins. The feeling is light and airy. We are located five miles from Bar Harbor and two miles from the entrance to Acadia National Park. We're a short walk to the 
 
post office and Salisbury Cove.

Fantastic place just outside of Acadia and Bar Harbor


We stayed late August and had a wonderful time. The property was clean and tidy when we arrived and the living room felt bigger than the pictures in the listing made it seem. Most of the days we took the Island Explorer bus into Bar Harbor or we just parked at the Acadia Visitor Center at Hulls Cove and rode bikes around the park from there. Both were very easy commutes and made our vacation exploring a breeze. Property was perfect for making breakfast in the morning and having a relaxing evening with breeze coming in through the windows. Only negative we can think of is with the back sliding door open there is some noise from the busy road nearby. the noise didn\'t prevent a good night\'s sleep and was only noticeable when we had the door open for air flow or were relaxing on the back porch in the cool evenings. We really liked the high ceiling in the living space and the ceiling fan. It made the area feel more open and light.

Wonderful stay


The place was nice, clean and had everything we needed. It\'s close to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Would definitely rent again when we come back to this area again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was the perfect location for Acadia National Park and surrounding lighthouse visits. The guest house has everything you need. It was quiet and relaxed. Everything from booking to arrival went smooth. I\'m not sure we\'d have the occasion to revisit the area, but we\'d be sure to book Kelley\'s Cottage again if we did.
