This private home will invite your vacationing side as you sip your morning coffee watching the morning sea life from your backyard patio and even out on the dock!  With John's Waterfront Paradise there are few better ways to spend your time fishing, swimming, floating on a raft, sunbathing or kayaking, watching the wildlife and other boaters share the day on the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. If you are looking for a vacation rental in Florida, this is it. 
 
This beautiful, tropical home is totally remodeled with tile flooring throughout. the kitchen and bathrooms have been totally remodeled with new appliances. The front and back are beautifully landscaped with a friendly tropical feel. This 3 bedroom home sleeps 8 total with 2 in each queen bed and 2 more in the queen sleeper sofa. Both the dining room and large family room feature beautiful views of the water.  The split floor plan gives the master suite privacy. A floating dock is available for you to dock your boat with deep water access to the Gulf!! Free use of two kayaks; a 3-person Hobie Kona & a fishing kayak.
 
If you want to rent a boat, there are a number of marinas close by (within walking distance). The canal is only minutes away to the Gulf of Mexico. You can sit on the fabulous deck and enjoy your morning coffee/breakfast or have an enjoyable dinner out on the deck, with a beautiful view of the canal. Sometimes you might get lucky seeing dolphins or manatee swimming in the canal right off the deck. Smoking is not allowed inside.
 
Hudson Beach is very conveniently located. There are quite a few restaurants close by if you like eating out. There are 3 restaurants and a small local beach within walking distant from the house. If you enjoy singing, there is a karaoke nights at a local ice cream parlor close by. There are many restaurants and marinas, like Mike dockside, Port Hudson, Greek restaurant, Fisherman's shack and many more. 
 
Some of the world famous beaches are in Clearwater and St Pete which is to the South of Hudson and it's about 30 minutes away. You can go north to Weekee Wachi to watch the world famous mermaids show or go to Homosassa Springs to see the manatee or visit the historic city of Brooksville and Dade City. World famous sponge dock, Tarpon Spring is within 30 minutes away, a cute little Greek town with many great Greek restaurants. World famous theme park like Disneyworld, Seaworld, Bush Garden, Epcot Center, Kennedy Space Center are all within 30 minutes to 2 hours away. 
 
There are many other things to do close by like fishing, boating, sailing, sightseeing, antiquing, live theater, golfing, miniature golf, flea market, horseback riding, zoo/wildlife park, kayaking, water skiing, swimming, shelling and many more.

Both my wife & I were born and raised in Florida. After living in Miami for 20 years and Saint Petersburg for 10 we now live in Dade City about an hour east of Hudson Beach. My wife runs our Veterinary practice and I am an Engineer working for a large building products company. We have an 20 year old son and 10-year old twins!.

Quiet neighborhood


We had a great 3 week stay! Had a couple issues at first but John was very quick to get the issues resolved. Very roomy! Had everything we could possibly need available. We brought our boat and that was great, just around the corner and you’re in the golf! Not a lot of room for parking two trucks and the boat trailer but that was not that big of an issue. Overall, great stay and we would definitely stay again!

A great vacation place!


The house was perfect for us. I loved the layout of the house which gives the home a very large feel. The location of the home was centrally located with everything we wanted to do. It is located in a quite neighborhood and was very easy to get to the main road. The home owner is willing to work with you on anything you need. A very nice family! John, thank you for giving us an opportunity to live in your wonderful home for a week. I loved this house and would stay again.

Fabulous fun in Hudson


This is not our typical location for vacations but we wanted to try something not beachfront. We were pleasantly surprised with our choice. First impression upon arrival was a little nervous but we were quickly relieved. Very clean place, easy check in, property just as described. It’s not luxurious but for the price you can’t beat it. Very affordable and comfortable. We found a lot to do near by. We enjoyed SunWest park, Hudson Beach, Crystal River swimming with Manatee and a trip to Clearwater Beach and Honeymoon island. We were extremely pleased with all we did. We also enjoyed the pool and kayaks. We would stay again in a heartbeat.
