If you are looking for a vacation rental in Florida, this is it. 
 
This beautiful, tropical home is totally remodeled with tile flooring throughout. the kitchen and bathrooms have been totally remodeled with new appliances. The front and back are beautifully landscaped with a friendly tropical feel. This 3 bedroom home sleeps 8 total with 2 in each queen bed and 2 more in the Futon sleeper sofa. Both the dining room and large family room feature beautiful views of the water.  The split floor plan gives the master suite privacy. A floating dock is available for you to dock your boat with deep water access to the Gulf!! Free use of two tandem kayaks.
 
If you want to rent a boat, there are a number of marinas close by (within walking distance). The canal is only minutes away to the Gulf of Mexico. You can sit on the fabulous deck and enjoy your morning coffee/breakfast or have an enjoyable dinner out on the deck, with a beautiful view of the canal and spacious pool. Sometimes you might get lucky seeing dolphins or manatee swimming in the canal right off the deck. Smoking is not allowed inside.
 
Hudson Beach is very conveniently located. There are quite a few restaurants close by if you like eating out. There are 3 restaurants and a small local beach within walking distant from the house. If you enjoy singing, there is a karaoke nights at a local ice cream parlor close by. There are many restaurants and marinas, like Mike dockside, Port Hudson, Greek restaurant, Fisherman's shack and many more. 
 
While Hudson Beach Park is just 2 miles away, some of the world famous beaches are in Clearwater and St Pete which is to the South of Hudson about 45 minutes away. You can go 10 miles north to Weekee Wachi to watch the world famous mermaids show or go to Homosassa Springs to see the manatee or visit the historic city of Brooksville and Dade City. World famous sponge dock, Tarpon Spring is within 30 minutes away, a cute little Greek town with many great Greek restaurants. World famous theme park like Disneyworld, Seaworld, Bush Garden, Epcot Center, Kennedy Space Center are all within 30 minutes to 2 hours away. 
 
There are many other things to do close by like fishing, boating, sailing, sightseeing, antiquing, live theater, golfing, miniature golf, flea market, horseback riding, zoo/wildlife park, kayaking, water skiing, swimming, shelling and many more.

Both my wife & I were born and raised in Florida. After living in Miami for 20 years and Saint Petersburg for 10 we now live in Dade City about an hour east of Hudson Beach. My wife runs our Veterinary practice and I am an Engineer working for a large building products company. We have an 20 year old son and 10-year old twins!.

Comfort and Paradise


The property was very clean and extremely comfortable. The bedrooms were a good size with very functional bureaus/closets/lighting . There were ample towels and clear instructions on use of kayaks,bikes, and pool heater. The kitchen was well stocked with glassware and cooking utensils. The living room space was large and accommodating and the pool table was in great shape. The kitchen table was large and there were family games available. The pool/yard area had good privacy. The windows let a lot of light in the house. Washing and drying machines and dishwasher a big plus. It was quickly clear that the owners make efforts to maintain the property. Great value for the money charged.

Happiness on the gulf


John\'s place was a fantastic property close to Weeki Wachee, Clearwater Beach, and Tarpon Springs. The house was clean and had all the necessities for a great vacation. Kayaks were available for the short trip from the dock to the gulf and was great for fishing and viewing sunsets on the gulf. Manatees and dolphins visited the canal in the evening. The kids swam in the pool and fished from the dock every evening. Definitely a relaxing, enjoyable vacation with groceries, dining, and a bait shop minutes away.
