We are located 3 miles from Houghton. We are less than 1/2 mile from the Bill Nicholls trail. We are close to MTU and Finlandia University. Multiple ski trails nearby. Mount Ripley is minutes  away. World renowned Mount Bohemia and Copper Harbor bike trails within an hour drive. 
 
We Sleep 20. Beds available for 19 with studio sleeper couch. 2 showers with no bathtub. Large Smart TV in common area and WIFI available. Coles Creek runs through the property. Very close to ATV/ snowmobile trail. Concrete basketball court on property. Sauna located in the house. Plenty of room for parking vehicles and trailers. Excellent views to the south and East.

Bruce\'s spot in Houghton was perfect for our group of 9. Super clean, plenty of room, all of the amenities you\'d want, wonderful location. Bruce even took the time to bring us some tools that we needed - thanks again, Bruce!

Pleasant retreat!


Three team members used this property for a business trip. They were not able to stay long enough to know or enjoy all the amenities unfortunately. The home is well built, a very pleasant retreat. Beautiful view on the back deck and courteous owners. The owners were very prompt and friendly with all of the communication leading up to the stay, and they were wonderful in person as well! Highly recommended!!

Great place to stay


We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was so clean and roomy and set in such a pretty, quiet area. We didn’t have enough people to fully take advantage of everything it had to offer. Next time we’ll bring more!
