Description

The Blue Heron Cottage is beautifully located at the mouth of the Cocagne River and faces Cocagne Harbor.
 
It has spectacular views of the shoreline and shoreline wildlife. You will see Blue Herons, Cormorants, Bald Eagles, Osprey Eagles, Kildeer and other Plovers etc.
 
The shoreline is stocked with numerous species that become visible when the tide is out - depending on the time of year.
 
The cottage is well-equipped. There are three bedrooms each with a queen size bed.
 
All bedding and linens are supplied. The Kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary kitchen items on hand. Just supply your own food.
 
BTW grocery store, wine store, a restaurant and pharmacy are all within 5 minutes.
Tourist attractions are numerous but it's tough to beat the views right at the cottage.
 
The town of Shediac is 10 minutes away and Parlee Beach is 15 minutes away. The city of Moncton is 25 minutes drive.
 
Fundy National Park and Kouchibouguac National Parks are spectaculer places to visit - especially if you are an outdoor enthusiast, camper or hiker.
 
The beach at the cottage is a natural beach. There is a nice sandy beach a short walk away. There is a BBQ, outdoor swing, beach and patio chairs and towels supplied.
 
There is a firepit near the water and firewood is supplied.
If you have special needs or travelling with a baby you can contact the owner to discuss.
