My wife and I built this place to raise a family in a safe and nurturing environment. After raising our two kids here we moved to Carbondale, CO in 2010 so the children could attend a private high school there.

Great place for a nice stay for R and R


we loved it. Hiked the North Rim of the Black Canyon one day, ate at PJ\'s , Fished on the Gunnison. Loved the view from the yard and the stars at night were totally awesome.

Love the Hacienda!


This is our second trip to this property and it remains an all time favorite! If you\'re looking for a secluded location for a large group this is a winner! Our bookclub basically lived on the patio during our stay because it was just too darn nice to go inside, despite it being almost 100 degrees while we were there. We spent a day visiting local wineries, which was lovely, but mostly we just enjoyed spending time together in this idyllic location.

Great location, everything was great


Jeff's place is a picturesque southwestern home that provides scenic views, amazing amenities, and a good location for large families. The kitchen is well stocked, and there are plenty of games and toys to entertain children. We were visiting family in Hotchkiss for Thanksgiving. La Hacienda gave us the opportunity to host family photos, a large meal, and had enough space to not feel too crowded. The location is secluded and provides adequate privacy expected of a mountain home in Colorado. If you are visiting the Hotchkiss area with a large family, I would highly recommend La Hacienda.
