This property is located west of Coast Hwy,  and thus an easy 8 minute walk to the beach, or to the many different restaurants and shops in the area . Located in the quiet neighborhood of South Oceanside, you will be just over 1 mile away of both the Village of Carlsbad, and the  and the busy Oceanside pier area.  A private backyard off of both bedrooms  has a private backyard with a sitting area, gas weber barbecue, dinning table,  and is perfectly situated between the 
 
Built by a local builder in 2010 for himself to live in, it has many upgrades such as 10 foot ceilings, custom solid wood doors, and a beautifully tiled bathroom.   With 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, it has an open floor plan and is just under 1000 sqft.   In your dedicated garage parking spot, you will have 2 beach bikes (additional bikes available upon request), 4 beach chairs, beach umbrella, boogie boards, and even beach toys for the kids.  I can even get a smaller bike for a child and a pack-in-play/booster seat, if you let me know in advance.   
 
The unit is not appointed with give aways from family members, but has newly purchased items such as upscale queen mattresses, a new very comfortable Crate and Barrel couch, and new TVs in all rooms including a 55" LCD TV in the main room including DVR recording capability. High speed wireless WIFI is also provided. 
 
Located under 1 mile from two main highways (Hwy 5 and Hwy 78) , it is easy to  visit family and friends anywhere in the area.  
 
Legoland Amusement Park (10 miles), shopping malls (5 miles), biking, sport fishing, and golfing. Sea World (40 miles), the San Diego Zoo (45 miles), the San Diego Wild Animal Park (35 miles), and numerous other San Diego spots are a short drive or train ride away. Disneyland (60 miles) and Knott's Berry Farm (66 miles) are popular destinations to the north.

-NO SMOKING anywhere on property.
-Please get prior approval in writing from me if you are under 25 years old.
-No events or parties.
-This is a quiet neighborhood, please be respectful of others after 10pm.
-Must clean all dishes and throw out all trash when you leave.
-If there are any issues, please let me know ASAP..and I will try to fix.
-Only one well behaved dog is allowed without prior approval.

It is great vacationing in a place where you don't share any walls with other people. This is really a stand alone house and is located on a street that has mostly locals. It has been upgraded with new windows, flooring, and totally new modern kitchen.
What makes this House unique
Not many totally remodeled houses with AC and backyard.

Terms & Conditions

Cancellation Policy:
* Before 30 days of arrival date: Full refund minus $35 fee.
* Within 30 days of arrival date: No refund of the rent paid, but will send back cleaning fee and tax paid.
 
If you do cancel within 30 days of arrival I do try to rent out the period cancelled and will send you back any funds received up to the amount you paid.  
 
No promises, but try to let me know ASAP so I can try to re-rent.

Perfect location & exactly what our family needed!


This was a great place for our family of four! The check in & out instructions were very user friendly & the accommodations very thoughtful! We were just a few blocks from the beach, grocery store, & plenty of great options for going out to eat with our family!

Great place to stay


Very nice, updated, clean, equipped condo! Super comfortable beds and a couch. TVs in each room. Huge mirror closets! Absolutely beautiful shower. Quiet location. Close to everything. I loved our stay here, kids didn\'t want to leave. Very attentive host. I highly recommend this place. ????

Just Beautuful!


This property was just as advertized. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. Loved that the whole house was tile. The beds were comfortable. The door codes made it easy to come and go, without having to keep track of a key. The BBQ had a full propane tank (so important to us). We walked to Privateer Pizza, the guys rode bikes, and the best meal was LTH (local tap house) All super close. Do not be alarmed when you hear the train horn, because when we went to sleep we did not hear the train at all inside the house. Warren was amazing as well. Five stars all the way, Thank you!
