Description

This property has 2 master suites; each with a bathroom and comprises the entire top floor of a two story duplex in quiet South Oceanside. It is just an 8-minute walk to a local beach and 2 blocks from many restaurants.   
 
The unit has many upgrades including central A/C, 10 foot ceilings, bamboo wood floors, granite countertops, custom wood doors, and well-appointed bathrooms in both master suites.   Park your car on one side of a double garage and find 4-beach bikes, 5-beach chairs, 2 boogie boards, umbrellas and a beach cart for your enjoyment.  If you have two cars, you can just park alongside the garage door.  
 
The kitchen includes a dishwasher, gas oven, microwave, ice-maker, and all the standard items to prepare a large family meal. It is well stocked with items such as plastic bags, storage containers, tin-foil, dishwasher soap, and hand soap.  Your own washer/dryer is located in the unit and laundry soap is provided.
 
A dedicated outside patio with lounge chairs, and gas barbecue is also provided on the ground floor. Please note that there is one flight of stairs to enter the unit.  
 
All local and standard cable channels are provided and includes  recording (DVR) capability on three-LCD TVs, located in the main living area (50 inch) and both master suites.High speed cable modem with wireless internet works throughout the entire unit.    
 
South Oceanside, and just blocks to many restaurants and shops, and you will quickly see why it has a “walk-ability rating” of 74.  
FYI, if larger accommodations are required, the downstairs unit in the duplex is also available with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath.
Check-in is easy using Keyless locks.  
If you have young children a pack-n-play, booster seat, beach toys, and a small bike can be provided on request.
 
Located under 1 mile from two main highways, and a few blocks to the local train, it is a great central location to enjoy all that Southern California has to offer.

HOUSE RULES:
-NO SMOKING anywhere on property.
-Please get prior approval in writing from me if you are under 25 years old.
-No events or parties.
-This is a quiet neighborhood; please be respectful of others after 10pm.
-Must clean all dishes and throw out all trash when you leave.
-If there are any issues, please let me know ASAP and I will try to fix.
-Please ask for approval for more than one dog.
 
Please be aware that the train in Oceanside runs from 200feet to 400 feet along the road closest to the ocean.  So if you want to be near to the ocean, you will hear some train noise.  This unit is located 320 feet from the tracks, and you will hear the train as most places do.  It has not been a problem as you can see from the reviews, but I want to make sure everyone is aware.

It is great vacationing in a place where you don't share any walls with other people. This is really a stand alone house and is located on a street that has mostly locals. It has been upgraded with new windows, flooring, and totally new modern kitchen.
What makes this House unique
Not many totally remodeled houses with AC and backyard.

Cancellation Policy:
* Before 30 days of arrival date: Full refund minus $50 fee.
* Within 30 days of arrival date: No refund of the rent paid, but will send back cleaning fee and tax paid.
 
If you do cancel within 30 days of arrival I do try to rent out the period cancelled and will send you back any funds received up to the amount you paid. 
No promises, but try to let me know ASAP so I can try to re-rent. 
No refund if within 30 days.  I will fully refund the cleaning fee and city tax.

Awesome place!


Great stay, close to everything and a great place!

Great beach neighborhood


A modern apartment with a really great layout in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Spacious, comfortable and very clean. Has all the amenities you could want. The owner was easy to communicate with and very attentive. Noise from the trains didnt bother us at all, WiFi was solid, walking distance to several local eateries and a cool coffee place. Will definitely rent this unit again!

Comfortable property and convenient location


We stayed in Warren\'s property for 4 nights. Everything in the property is as advertised. You can hear the amTrek when it goes by but it never woke us up at night. The AC is very quiet and the location is convenient. It takes 10-15 minutes to get to Carlsbad downtown and Legoland. Our kids (5 and 7 year old) also enjoyed staying there.

Super Clean Condo


The Condo was Super Clean and had everything you could possibly desire to use or need! Warren and Meryl thought of everything! Warren was always checking on your needs to see if you needed his assistance. Overall a great place to stay on a Business trip or Vacation. Darrell & Debi H. Verrado, AZ

Great property with lots of amenities


We had a wonderful time and really appreciated all of the beach gear and toys that were available to use. It really made our time at the beach extra special. The property was as advertised - nicely appointed and decorated. The beds were comfy and the 2 suites allowed for privacy as well. Overall, a great experience and we would rent from Warren & Meryl again.
